An art monument depicting players was set up in the outdoor plaza of Okinawa Arena, the venue for "B.LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME WEEKEND 2024 IN OKINAWA." By depicting the players with life-size lines, visitors can experience the players' height, speed, jumps and other physical abilities. Expressing the world of B.LEAGUE's purpose, "Hearts Burning," concept design is inspired by communication that connects visitors with multiple venues under the concept of "PARK."

The waters around Cape Hado, where the Genkai Underwater Observatory is located, were designated as part of the quasi-national park "Genkai Underwater Park" (now Genkai Sea Area Park) in 1970 as Japan's first underwater park. This facility opened in 1974 as the only underwater observatory on the Sea of Japan side. Connected to the land of Cape Hado by an 86-meter-long pier, the observation room is 20 meters high and 10 meters in diameter, and located 7 meters deep. Through 24 underwater windows, you can see a variety of fish swimming, seaweed, and shellfish in their natural state. In addition, from the sea deck, you can see the islands of the Genkai Sea on three sides. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of its opening, the facility will be reopened for the first time on April 1, 2024, and will be the first of the seven underwater observatories in the country to introduce projection mapping, allowing you to enjoy an immersive experience as if you were in the sea while watching real fish. Our company was involved from the basic concept stage and was responsible for everything from concept design, exhibit execution to public relations at the time of opening.

NOMURA exhibited a booth at the SC Business Fair 2024, the largest event in the industry where shopping center personnel gather together. The event was held at the Pacifico Yokohama displays Hall for three days from January 24 to 26, 2024, and in addition to exhibiting at a booth, we also held a free seminar on the first day of the event. The theme of this booth was "NOMURA Idea of Sustainable concept design." As part of our social good R&D activities, we are currently working on creating a "Sustainable concept design Manner Book" that realizes design, functionality, and environmental friendliness, and our booth was designed in accordance with the basic policy of the manner book. As sustainability efforts become more diverse, we are also continuing to take on various challenges, such as developing upcycled materials. However, this time, we have focused on understanding the characteristics of basic materials, which are indispensable materials for constructing spaces and will continue to be deeply involved in the future. The basic materials used were wood, cement, acrylic, copper, and iron. The lumber was arranged in a grid pattern, but the space was given an undulation, allowing visitors to walk around and enjoy conversation. The ratio of each material was calculated based on the embodied carbon emissions in the life cycle of the building, and the characteristics of the materials were visually conveyed. In addition, the materials were joined together using clamps (※) instead of screws or adhesives, allowing for secondary use of the materials and overwhelmingly reducing waste at the time of dismantling, symbolizing the essential idea of contributing to the environment. We aimed to concept design a booth that would allow visitors to think about future approaches to sustainable concept design together with us, and that would allow visitors to gain new realizations and discoveries while showing their responsibility and gratitude for materials. *We have used the dedicated clamps from the "Tsunagi" project, planned and produced by Nikken Sekkei.

The main building is a historical entertainment facility with the theme of Maebashi's "crisis and people's power." Maebashi was called the "flower of Kanto" during the Edo period and flourished as a castle town, and continued to develop as the prefectural capital of Gunma Prefecture after the Meiji period. During that time, however, our ancestors overcame four crises with the "people's power" and achieved reconstruction: the collapse of Maebashi Castle due to erosion of the Tone River, the abolition of feudal domains and the establishment of prefectures due to the Meiji Restoration, the suspension of operations in the silk industry, which was the city's main industry, due to the Great Depression, and the burning of 80% of the city area in air raids during World War II. The main building calls Maebashi, which developed as the "flower of Kanto" and the "prefectural capital," "the Flower Capital," and was opened with the hope that it would be an opportunity for citizens to trace the history of their hometown and think about Maebashi's future.

LOGI'Q Minamiibaraki, the flagship facility of Tokyu Land Corporation's LOGI'Q brand, will be completed in January 2024 as one of the largest logistics facilities in the Kansai region, and we were responsible for design, layout construction, sign concept design, etc. We designed cafeterias on the first and fourth floors with different concept design themes that characterize the facility. Considering that the first floor area faces the mountainous area, we used plenty of wood and realized a spacious space that takes advantage of the high ceilings, while the fourth floor area is located on the urban and industrial side, so we finished it with a sharp and modern composition using metal and stone. In addition, concept design a large, eye-catching logo outdoors and a lounge located at the main entrance, providing a comfortable experience for customers visiting the facility and creating a space that will encourage communication through art and displays.

This project aims to improve the appeal of Kanazawa crafts in the Tokyo metropolitan area and strengthen its ability to convey the message. It relocates and opens "Dining Gallery Ginza no Kanazawa," which was located on the sixth floor of a commercial facility, as a full-scale crafts gallery on the street in Ginza 5-chome. Utilizing the brand power that has been cultivated thus far, we will create a new stage that connects Kanazawa with the world, culture and business, tradition and innovation, and convey the appeal of Kanazawa crafts to the world, while also nurturing young craft artists.

In order to contribute to the promotion of SDGs in Higashiyodogawa Ward, Osaka Prefecture, and to create a space where visitors can feel relaxed and comfortable, Higashiyodogawa Ward Office has renovated the waiting areas on the first and second floors with wood. The renovation concept is "Treeful." This is a coined word that means "full" with trees (tree), and conveys the message that just as a wide variety of trees gather together to create a rich, strong, and sustainable mountain, the diversity of the people living in this city creates a rich society. By incorporating a wealth of wood from Osaka Prefecture into areas of Higashiyodogawa Ward Office that are visible to many users, and with the cooperation of ward residents through workshops, a space filled with the diverse charms of wood, "Treeful," was born. *This project was implemented using the "Forest Environment Grant Tax."

This is an displays concept design project for the comprehensive retail trade fair "JAPAN SHOP 2024" held at Tokyo Big Sight. We were in charge of the overall design, layout, and construction of Lilycolor Co., Ltd.'s booth. This year's theme was "Sustainable x Experiential Material Search for Design Decision Makers." In addition to seeing Lilycolor's "sustainable products," including new wallpaper and flooring products made from recycled waste, we also scattered points throughout the exhibit where visitors could "experience" the products themselves, by actually touching them and checking their texture and comfort. As a company that deals with interior materials, we aimed to create a booth that could be experienced in three dimensions, including the comfort of the space and the image of the actual space.

The Aoya Kami Terachi Ruins, a national historic site in Aoya-cho, Tottori City, is also known as the "underground Yayoi museum" due to the wide variety of excavated items unique to a port settlement, and this facility is part of the restoration of the historic site, "Yayoi Village." The Guidance displays Room expresses the world view of the ruins and the Yayoi period with a semi-structured ship (trading ship) as a symbol, with the theme of "Tour of Aoya Village." In addition, the Important Cultural Property displays Room has many items produced in the Yayoi period that can be said to be beautifully concept design crafts, and was concept design with the theme of a "Yayoi Art Museum" that brings out the "beauty" of Aoya's excavated items, which is different from conventional archaeological museums.

This is a senior residence project aimed at active seniors in the "HARUMI FLAG" area, a new town created as a result of large-scale urban development. We assisted from the basic concept stage and were in charge of planning the common areas. The nearby Harumi Pier is a special place visited by ships from all over the world, as it is the gateway to Tokyo's ocean, and is a place where luxury cruise ships from Japan and overseas call. Inspired by the characteristics of this area, we concept design a space with a cruise ship image for "Home Clair", a cultural school opened within this property. The space used for the cultural school, called "Clair Hall", was inspired by the diverse cultures brought by ships from all over the world, and we created mechanisms to serve as a starting point for activities through "culture", such as a culture wall hung with records from multiple generations and cultures and a movable stage that can accommodate various activities. The lounge for residents only, called "Clair Lounge", is a special space where residents can relax while enjoying board games and light meals by conceptually incorporating the Art Deco concept design used in the 1920s, when cruise ship voyages were popular.

Kaiyukan, one of the world's largest aquariums, is located in Osaka. ``Inochi Guru Guru Coral Exhibition'' is a special exhibition that focuses on corals, which tend to be the background in aquariums. The theme of displays was the ``vitality'' of corals, which live strong lives, and the aim was for visitors to learn about the appeal of corals, discover a new way of looking at aquariums, and even become fans of corals. In addition, the aim is to synergistically increase the excitement in conjunction with the renovation of the Great Barrier Reef aquarium, the largest aquarium in the museum.

Since opening in 2011 at the east exit of JR Urawa Station, East Medical Clinic's newly built medical facility in Urawa PARCO has been used for internal medicine, breast surgery, complete health checkups, and health checkups not only by local residents but also by many nearby companies. This is a relocation project to a mall. The opening of the relocation comes after two years of consulting on the target property and redefining the mission as the scale of the clinic expanded.

This is a value-enhancing renovation project for a 16-story office building completed in 1988, located in the Nishi-Shinjuku area, a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. The areas to be renovated include the first floor external facade, planting, first floor entrance, and common area on the standard floor, including the toilets.The overall concept design concept is ``Qualité'', which means quality in French.
