2025 World Expo Osaka Healthcare Pavilion Nest for Reborn

2025 World Expo Osaka Healthcare Pavilion Nest for Reborn

The "Osaka Healthcare Pavilion Nest for Reborn," a joint venture between Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City, the host cities of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, brings together industry, academia, government, and the private sector. As the lead company in displays joint venture, our company was responsible for everything from basic planning and schematic design to working drawings and construction. The basic concept was "displays that allows visitors to experience a life where future medicine and healthcare are integrated, and that will also serve as an experiment for future society, creating a legacy," which was expressed through the future of "healthcare," "cities," "food and culture," and "entertainment." In the main program, the "Reborn Experience Route," visitors can meet their future selves 25 years from now by measuring their health data in a "body measurement pod." Together with this future self, they can experience the future of healthcare and urban life envisioned by approximately 20 exhibiting companies, mainly from Osaka, and have the experience of being reborn as their future self. displays embodies our hope that it will serve as a catalyst for a "future society where life shines," showing that "people can be reborn" and "take a new step forward." [Features of the project] We were able to realize this by bringing together the aspirations of the general producer, advisors, exhibiting companies, and many other stakeholders, with the hope that it will serve as a catalyst for a "future society where life shines," showing that "people can be reborn" and "take a new step forward."

TOYAMA TOWN TREKKING SITE

TOYAMA TOWN TREKKING SITE

Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, and NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. have opened "TOYAMA TOWN TREKKING SITE," a new lifestyle hub themed around "transforming a closed gymnasium into a gymnasium that connects to the outside." This project was selected as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' FY2016 "Public Facility Open Renovation Project," which aims to revitalize public facilities owned by local governments with private sector vitality, such as creators, and turn them into new business hubs. The goal is to "revitalize" the dead space of the Toyama City General Gymnasium through renovation, creating a multi-generational exchange hub where residents can engage in town trekking (walking around town) and other activities. "TTS" is a complex facility that includes a cafe, sports shop, and studio. The facility will be equipped with facilities (hardware) to support town trekking, and will be operated as part of a new public service to support the health of Toyama citizens by regularly holding events (software) focused on "food education," "physical education," and health education. Leveraging its location adjacent to Kansui Park, which attracts 1.4 million visitors annually, this project aims to be a pioneering initiative in Japan. It will be used not only by users of the Toyama City General Gymnasium but also as a base for exploring the area, allowing citizens to experience "extended healthy life expectancy" and "improved quality of life (QOL)," while the local government strives to build a "positive cycle model of residents' healthy behavior and the local economy." "TTS" provides "time and space that nurtures people, not just time or space alone, which is necessary for the health of people and the city," and slowly creates a "space" where you can share something that belongs to no one else with others.

Sumitomo Life "Vitality" Plaza Ginza Flagship store

Sumitomo Life "Vitality" Plaza Ginza Flagship store

Sumitomo Life's "Vitality" product combines features such as variable premiums and benefits (rewards) to support customers' efforts and continuation of health promotion activities. To allow more customers to experience its advanced features and value, we have developed walk-in stores. Our company was in charge of the following stores: ・Sumitomo Life "Vitality" Plaza Yurakucho Store (Opened April 2020) ・Sumitomo Life "Vitality" Plaza Shinjuku Store (Opened November 2019) [Social Issues / Customer Issues / Requests] While addressing three issues—increasing awareness of "Sumitomo Life "Vitality"", acquiring new customers, and improving policyholder loyalty—there was a need to utilize "digital" to create new experiential value rooted in "people". By developing stores in the heart of Ginza, one of Japan's leading commercial districts, and disseminating information, we promoted the project to contribute to Sumitomo Life's vision of "Each individual living a better life = well-being". [Solution] We created a space where customers can experience the world of Vitality by visualizing the features of Sumitomo Life's "Vitality" health program—"understanding your health status," "improving your health status," and "enjoying benefits (rewards)"—through benefit displays and videos. We created a flexible space that can be used to hold various events and seminars to support health promotion activities, and a meeting room where face-to-face support can be provided to existing policyholders, resulting in a plan that emphasizes value rooted in "people." Interactive content that makes health initiatives personal has been introduced in the entrance, providing a new "digital" experience with Ginza as the backdrop. We hope that this store will become one that supports the "daily lives" of each individual through the space in the heart of Ginza and contributes to the realization of a healthy and long-lived society. [Customer Feedback] Many design companies in the same industry visit our store because they are interested in design, layout of your company. Customers have said things like, "The wall concept design is wonderful," "It's a stylish space," "The smart partitions are cool," and "It's a space that makes you want to sign a contract," and some have been impressed by the monolith (a large touch-panel monitor). <Our Project Members> ・Sumitomo Life "Vitality" Plaza Ginza Flagship Store [Development] Mizuki Ogura [Sales/Project Management] Keita Shima [Planning] Yuki Noda, Hiroshi Matsushita [Digital Content Planning] Aya Watanabe [Leasing] Aya Nishimoto, Tomoko Shirasaki [design, layout] Yasushi Machida, Megumi Yatsuka, Mariko Yamagiwa [Production/ construction] Tomokuni Hasegawa [System Design/ construction] Keisuke Taneda, Yuki Kuga ・Sumitomo Life "Vitality" Plaza Yurakucho Store [Development] Mizuki Ogura [Sales/Project Management] Keita Shima [Planning] Yuki Noda [design, layout] Yasushi Machida [Production/ construction] Kazuki Misawa ・Sumitomo Life "Vitality" Plaza Shinjuku Store [Development] Mizuki Ogura [Sales/Project Management] Keita Shima [Planning] Koji Nakazato, Yuki Noda [design, layout] Yasushi Machida [Production and construction] Kazuki Misawa

Park Wellstate Kamogawa

Park Wellstate Kamogawa

Park Well State" by Mitsui Fudosan Residential is a serviced residence for mature, active seniors with diverse values, aiming to enable them to spend a new stage of their lives freely and abundantly in their own way. Park Well State Kamogawa, the second property following Park Well State Hamadayama, will be built in Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. It will be a 22-story building with a capacity of approximately 470 units, and will be a high value-added facility with a partnership with the medical corporation that operates Kameda General Hospital in the same city and leisure functions in the facility. We were in charge of the common areas, including the lobby reception area, promenade, club lounge, and restaurant. The Kamogawa area was originally a hilly area covered in forests with a rich ecosystem, but after being used as a quarry in the 1990s, the trees were cut down and the land was left bare and rocky. The project was aimed at creating a home where the residents, the seniors, could enjoy a rich time and life while restoring the natural environment, from the viewpoint that a natural environment enhances the quality of life for seniors and is the foundation for a healthy and rich life. SOLUTION: To solve the problem, a brightly colored white sycamore veneer was used for the interior finishing material to create a warm common-use space. The height of the washbasin was set lower than usual to accommodate seniors, and the corners and edges were chamfered with rounded edges. The flooring is made of stone, carpet, and flooring with narrow joints to prevent steps from being taken, and to create a safe and friendly environment for seniors. concept design The artwork was selected to reflect the local quarry site and the Kamogawa River, and local crushed stone was used to create a work of art that expresses the charm of the Kamogawa River and its local climate and culture. <Our project members> 【Sales/Project Management】 Naoki Murata 【design, layout】Common area concept design ・Supervision: Michio Matsuzaki / Artwork coordination: Misa Sanjoba, Wataru Tajiri 【Production・ construction】Masato Takeuchi, Shusuke Hoshino, Keiichi Yamazaki, Shogo Yasunaga

Shinjuku Medical Checkup Plaza

Shinjuku Medical Checkup Plaza

This project involves expanding the women's floor of Tokyo's largest health checkup facility from one floor to two, and renovating it with a new concept design. Based on the concept of "providing a comfortable and smart health checkup experience for women working in the city center," we aimed to create a space that considers the flow, sightlines, and comfort of both patients and staff. Through repeated discussions with many stakeholders, we carefully designed every detail of the functionality and design, which led to the creation of a highly hospitable health checkup service. [Social Issues/Client Issues/Requests] The client's primary request was to significantly increase the capacity and operational efficiency of the women's patient slots. The challenge was to ensure ease of use and comfort while maximizing the number of examination rooms and waiting area seats. At the same time, we aimed to enhance the sense of exclusivity and added value in order to further establish the competitive advantage of "Shinjuku Health Checkup Plaza" within the health checkup facility market. [Solution] We adopted "SMART HEALTH RESORT" as the overall concept for the facility, designating the existing 7th-concept design ladies' floor as "COMFORT RESORT" and the newly established 8th floor as "PRIME RESORT" to offer an even more exclusive experience than the 7th floor. With the aim of providing a comfortable and smart health checkup experience for women working in the city center, the spatial expression is based on a hotel-like luxury feel, and the color scheme is based on beige and light-colored wood tones. Instead of common colors such as gold and silver, the metal materials are unified in a pink bronze color to give a sense of exclusivity. Furthermore, while many medical facilities generally use plain, subdued wallpaper for interiors of the examination rooms, we differentiated our facility by using patterned wallpaper in each room to help patients relax as much as possible during their examination. Securing the required number of examination rooms and waiting areas within a limited floor space was an extremely difficult problem. However, through repeated discussions with medical technologists and medical equipment manufacturers, we were able to determine the minimum size of each examination room that would allow for both "smooth examination operations" and "avoiding a feeling of confinement for patients," and then plan accordingly, thereby achieving the necessary number. <Our Project Members> [Sales & Project Management] Tsuneo Kozasa, Yukako Ninomiya [Planning] Hiroyuki Imaizumi [design, layout] Kumiko Oishi, Mei Watanabe [Production & construction] Mai Sakai, Nohara Kikuchi
