Nishi-Shinjuku Prime Square renovation
overview
This is a value-enhancing renovation project for a 16-story office building completed in 1988, located in the Nishi-Shinjuku area, a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.
The renovations cover the exterior facade on the first floor, the landscaping, the entrance on the first floor, and the common areas on the standard floors, including the restrooms. The overall concept design concept is "Qualité," which means quality in French.
Issues/requests
Compared to other new office buildings in the Nishi-Shinjuku area, the building's 1980s (bubble economy) postmodern concept design gives it the impression of being an office building from a bygone era. The challenge was how to increase its competitiveness in tenant leasing and improve profitability.
solution
We transformed a building that is over 30 years old into a timeless and high-quality concept design that is not influenced by current trends.
By installing a light wall and sofas in the entrance hall, we have created a space where tenants and building visitors can interact, thereby revitalizing the entire building.
