【プロジェクト説明文】 パナソニック株式会社様 創業100周年記念事業の一環として、創業100年目にあたる2018年3月7日に新築オープンした「松下幸之助歴史館」。松下幸之助・パナソニック創業者の経営観、人生観に触れることができ、その“心”を広く継承することを目的としました。 【お客様の課題/ご要望】 パナソニックの経営理念、創業者が残してきた数々の事績、言葉、心を如何にして同社社員に継承できるか、また一般の方を含む来館者に学びや気づきを提供できるかが課題でした。展示テーマとして設定した“道”を辿りながら、松下幸之助創業者94年の生涯を追体験できる空間構成とし、コンセプトは“松下幸之助に出逢える場所”としました。 【解決策】 まず、創業者が愛した「真々庵」をモチーフに、自由に散策しながら思索に集中できる空間としました。各展示要素は深度によりレイヤーを分けて表現し、来館者個々の興味対象に合わせた、情報を選び取ることができる構成としました。 <当社プロジェクトメンバー> 【営業・プロジェクトマネジメント】馬場 翔平 【企画】柳原 朋子 【デザイン・設計】波田 英昭、吉川 祥世、須賀 成人、水野 考基 【造形デザイン】岸川 研一 【制作・施工】小川 正翁 撮影:株式会社ナカサアンドパートナーズ

[Project Description] This facility is an innovation facility created with the aim of co-creating new value by connecting people, technology, and wisdom, aiming to solve the problems of business partners and social issues, in addition to providing a space to introduce and experience the technologies that Ajinomoto has cultivated so far. [Customer's Issues/Requests] Until now, technology introductions to companies have been done through visits, which limited the number of technologies that could be explained at one time, and made it difficult to introduce actual products and convey the value of the technology. Therefore, it was required to create a place where the technology could be appealed to more efficiently and effectively. In addition, it was required to create an environment where the potential value of the technology could be effectively conveyed and the needs of customers could be efficiently understood by having customers "see, touch, and feel" the technology that they possess. [Solution] In constructing the space, we built a flexible system based on the ideas of 1) fixed form (no fixed shape in time or space), 2) two-way (dialogue is the main focus, not things or technology), and 3) incomplete (changing with the evolution and changes of the world), and realized a highly flexible plan. This allows us to appeal efficiently to customers' needs, and also encourages unexpected connections and discoveries. [Project Description] A samurai residence built over 140 years ago in Obi, a castle town with a long history in Kyushu and an important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings, has been converted into an office where visitors can experience the local culture. The overall concept is "Post-Heritage: Inheritance and Transformation for the Next Generation," and by clarifying the points that should be woven and the points that should be renewed, we are attempting a new way of connecting culture. We aimed to create a space that connects with the local community by interpreting the life of a former private home in a modern way. The concept design consists of two different spaces: a communication space with a large table made from the floorboards used in the former private home, and an open workspace with a counter facing the greenery through the opening. The gravel-covered earthen floor inserted between them is an intermediate area that connects both spaces and the outside and inside. The newly built "stepped deck" in the garden gently connects the inside and outside, and is used as a space for events where local people gather and to promote local products, making it a space that connects people, things, and events. Tobu Railway SL Revival Operation Project

[Project Summary] The grand project of "SL Revival Operation" has begun, and for the first time in about half a century, Tobu Railway will run a steam locomotive on the Kinugawa Line. As part of the project, we were involved in concept design and supervision of the station building, platform, and head mark from the basic plan, the lively production of Kinugawa Onsen Station, and the planning, design, and construction of the steam locomotive displays hall at Shimoimaichi Station. [Client's Challenge] In order to achieve the three main themes of the project, "preservation and utilization of railway industry cultural heritage," "vitalization of the Nikko and Kinugawa area," and ultimately "helping to support the Tohoku reconstruction effort," we aimed to create a lively atmosphere to increase the branding of the area and to create displays that conveys the charm of the railway industry cultural heritage and expands the number of railway fans. [Solution] Based on a Showa retro concept design reminiscent of the time when steam locomotives ran, we created a lively atmosphere in the station building and an displays that allows people of all ages to experience the charm of steam locomotives, so that not only core railway fans but also a wide range of generations can enjoy it. At both stations where the steam locomotive stops, we created an environment with concept design based on the station buildings of the time and large eye-catching lanterns. Panasonic Center Osaka "Re Life Story A house where you can play innocently and connect with nature"

[Project Description] "A house connected to nature where you can play innocently and immerse yourself in nothingness" is a second home proposal for the ReLife generation (male in his 50s, occupation: pastry chef). "I want to continue to grow with excitement. I want an environment where I can deepen my creativity no matter how old I am." The idea was developed with the image of a "secret base where you can return to your childhood." The living space was designed to allow you to play "innocently" with family and friends while sitting or lying down, and a circular window room where you can become one with nature and immerse yourself in your own world "mindlessly." The house was designed with an abundance of "earthen walls" with excellent texture and functionality, and effective use of lighting effects. You can experience a space where your creativity deepens from the two "nothingness" of "innocence" and "mindlessness." We assisted with the planning, concept design, and construction. [Customer's Issues/Requests] With the theme of "a secret base where you can return to your childhood," the challenge was how to express a space where everyone can gather and play, and a space where you can immerse yourself in your own world mindlessly by yourself, in one living space. [Solution] In one large space, we made generous use of earthen walls, which have excellent texture and functionality, to create a comfortable space. Within this, the space where everyone can gather and play "innocently" is created as a stepped stage using interior counters from Panasonic materials, and a large table is placed in the middle to create a space where everyone can gather. Renewal of the main building of the Toyota Automobile Museum

[Project Summary] This is a renovated facility with the aim of introducing the history of the evolution of Japanese, American and European automobiles from their birth to the present through their relationship with society. The previous displays style, which had Japan and Europe and the US on separate floors, has been replaced with an integrated displays that conveys how Japanese car manufacturing has developed in one world history. The museum features a graphic arrangement that does not distract from the appreciation of cars, such as catchy message slogans and photographic presentations that provide the background of the era, and has created a museum where visitors can intuitively understand the emotional world of car concept design that has developed along with the evolution of technology. [Customer's Challenge] The challenge was to create an integrated exhibition that would convey how the Japanese automobile industry has developed in relation to society, such as the social needs and challenges of each era in world history, and to displays the value and appeal of the cars. [Solution] We paid attention to an explanation plan that would be easy to understand for a variety of visitors and deepen their understanding, and to an effective vehicle arrangement. The history of Japanese cars and Western cars, which was previously separated by floors, is now presented as one world history, and an integrated displays that allows visitors to intuitively feel the history of the development of automobiles. Our goal was to create displays structure that would allow visitors to naturally learn, as they walk around displays, what role Japan has played in the 100-year history of automobiles. [Customer feedback] By using transparent partitions such as mesh tarpaulins and ball bead curtains to explain the displays zones and create a spatial presentation, we were able to make use of the open space that is a characteristic of the original building, while also dividing the exhibits into zones and presenting the space with large graphics, thereby enriching displays content and improving the quality of the space. By taking advantage of the unique appeal of "wooden houses," we provide comfortable homes that are environmentally friendly and can be lived in for a long time. We will spread the advantages of "Sumitomo Forestry Houses" through rich contact with customers at the "Minato Mirai Showroom." We assisted with design, layout, and construction. [Customer's Issues/Requests] To establish it as a place that realizes rich contact between customers and Sumitomo Forestry and a place that enhances CS (customer satisfaction)/ES (employee satisfaction). In addition, it should be a space where meetings can be held in a high-quality space, and where end users can experience the unique appeal of "wooden houses" through a wide variety displays. Furthermore, the expansion into a showroom was mentioned to increase customer satisfaction and make "Sumitomo Forestry Houses" a place that continues to be supported. [Solution] A concept space that strongly appeals to the beauty of fine wood is created, centered around a cutting-edge VR facility that provides real experiences and surprises.
