overview
[Project description]
In conjunction with the construction of a mass production assembly plant for the MRJ, Japan's first regional jet airliner, which is being developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, a factory tour facility open to the public has been developed and attached. A facility where you can observe the actual production site of aircraft and experience aircraft manufacturing.
[Customer issues/themes]
We will tour the MRJ production site, introduce the path to development, and experience the dynamism and breadth of the aircraft industry, which is made up of more than 20,000 parts. At the same time, we aim to create a facility that appeals to the comprehensive strengths of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which also develops aircraft.
[Solution]
The facility makes full use of its location, which is adjacent to an aircraft production site. In addition to displays a full-scale mock-up of the MRJ, it will create realistic and unique content that can only be experienced here, and create a space that consistently evokes the theme of "aircraft" from the entrance to the exit.
[Customer Feedback]
The overall concept design and atmosphere of the facility are a major force in promoting the advanced nature of the MRJ.
