overview
[Project description]
As part of Panasonic Corporation's 100th anniversary project, the newly built Konosuke Matsushita Museum opened on March 7, 2018, the 100th anniversary of its founding. The purpose of this event was to enable visitors to come into contact with the management and life views of Konosuke Matsushita, the founder of Panasonic, and to pass on that "heart" to a wider audience.
[Customer's challenges/requests]
The challenge was how to pass on Panasonic's management philosophy, the numerous achievements, words, and spirit left behind by its founder to its employees, and how to provide learning and insights to visitors, including the general public. The exhibition was designed to allow visitors to relive the 94-year life of founder Konosuke Matsushita by following the "path" set as displays theme, and the concept was "A place where you can meet Konosuke Matsushita."
[Solution]
First, inspired by "Shinshin-an," a place beloved by the founder, we created a space where visitors can freely stroll around and concentrate on their thoughts. Each displays element is presented in layers according to its depth, allowing visitors to select information that suits their individual interests.
