[Project description]
As part of Panasonic Corporation's 100th anniversary project, the newly built Konosuke Matsushita Museum opened on March 7, 2018, the 100th anniversary of its founding. The purpose of this event was to enable visitors to come into contact with the management and life views of Konosuke Matsushita, the founder of Panasonic, and to pass on that "heart" to a wider audience.
[Customer issues/requests]
The challenge was how to pass on Panasonic's management philosophy, the numerous achievements, words, and spirit left by the founder to the company's employees, and how to provide visitors, including the general public, with learning and awareness. The concept of the displays is “a place where you can meet Konosuke Matsushita.”
【solution】
First, we used Shinshin-an, which was loved by the founder, as a motif to create a space where people can freely stroll around and concentrate on their thoughts. Each displays element is divided into layers according to depth, and the structure is such that the information can be selected according to the individual interest of each visitor.
