Bosch Shibuya Head Office Office, 10th Floor, "The NEST"

Bosch Shibuya Head Office Office, 10th Floor, "The NEST"

Renovation project for Bosch Corporation Shibuya Head Office. We were in charge of planning, design, layout and construction for the renovation of one floor on the 10th floor into a communication space. Based on our experience of remodeling the 4th floor of the Head Office building into a communication space "RE/SP", we thought it was important to create an opportunity for interaction among employees. Based on the concept of "SCRAMBLE for MEET UP" (gather people, hatch new ideas, and fly out again), we designed the space to create a place where a diverse range of employees can gather and interact on a daily basis. Like Shibuya, where Bosch's Head Office is located, the space was composed in collaboration with various artists to express the mixing of people through encounters and exchanges, and is an open concept design where people can interact with an open mind. We also took part in the creation phase, including the logo concept design and event planning and management. The client required a place concept design where employees can interact with each other from a different perspective than the office floor, with the aim of stimulating communication and creating innovation within the company. Solution: We proposed a space configuration that would allow each employee to regain their vitality and deepen their connection with each other. Specifically, the space was divided into six main functional areas, including a counter for casual conversation with a cup of coffee in hand, a place to relax on a sofa, and a space for physical exercise and refreshment, with the aim of creating opportunities for communication that transcends age and departmental boundaries. The space is divided into six main functional areas. By proactively incorporating furniture and artwork that would trigger communication, we aimed to create a place where spontaneous ideas that are difficult to generate in the office area could be generated. The Bosch DNA is also available at displays to give visitors hints on how to create innovations. <Our project members> [Sales and project management] Kazushige Ishii, Kaori Murakami, Tomoyo Shishibori [design, layout] Manabu Yamanobe, Mitsutaka Hagiwara [Planning] Kenta Masubuchi [Production and construction] Tetsuji Koike

Hamleys Yokohama World Porters

Hamleys Yokohama World Porters

Hamleys, the oldest toy store in the UK with a 259-year history, now has stores in 19 countries worldwide and is a theme park-like facility with various features that set it apart from ordinary toy stores. The Yokohama World Porters store, which will be the first store in Japan along with the Canal City Hakata store in Fukuoka City, will consist of two floors. The first floor will feature Hamleys' iconic carousel, which children can actually ride and play on. The playroom on the second floor will offer games using digital technology and opportunities to try out toys. In addition, just like in the UK, rental services such as party rooms where you can celebrate special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries with entertainers will be available, making it a facility where families can spend enjoyable time. Our company coordinated this project, in which both stores will open on almost the same day, and assisted with everything from working drawings to construction (excluding the playroom) and construction supervision, based on the basic plan in the UK. <Our Project Members> [Sales & Project Management] Shohei Baba, Haruhiko Kako, Reika Sato, Reina Mihashi [Direction] Eiji Kawakami [design, layout] Masahiro Sugihara [Production & construction] Eisuke Yokoshima, Yohei Ishikawa, Takuto Nitasaka, Kota Shimizu, Yuta Shirahata, Yuma Uehara, Fuyuka Nishiyama, Yuki Miura [Customer Feedback] We were able to realize a store with high construction precision that takes safety into consideration. ISETAN MIRROR MAKE & COSMETICS Terrace Mall Shonan

ISETAN MIRROR MAKE & COSMETICS Terrace Mall Shonan

[Project Description] This project involves opening a new Isetan Mirror store in conjunction with the renewal of Terrace Mall Shonan. Unlike previous store locations, this store is located in a shopping mall, and the target audience is broader. Therefore, an experiential space and interactive elements were incorporated. [Client's Challenges/Requests] The challenges were how to attract new customers who would recognize the store, and how to ensure they were satisfied after their purchase and would become repeat customers. [Solution] To accommodate the flow of people from Tsujido Station, a logo sign and mirrors symbolizing the brand were displayed in the window next to the mall entrance. Inside the store, the layout of fixtures and traffic flow were carefully designed to provide good visibility and make it easy for first-time customers to enter. A symbolic corner with curtains was set up in the center of the store where customers can receive counseling at their leisure. [Client's Feedback] This section is adjacent to the main entrance of the facility, making it a section where attracting customers directly impacts sales. Through various efforts, we have been able to raise awareness among customers visiting the facility from Tsujido Station, and many customers have entered the store and made purchases. <Our Project Members> [Project Management] Yukinori Hashida [design, layout] Yuko Aida [construction] Koichiro Matsukawa

Ginza Sony Park

Ginza Sony Park

[Project Description] Ginza Sony Park is part of the "Ginza Sony Park Project," a project to renovate the Sony Building. It will be open as a flat, open public space until the fall of 2020, and then in 2022, a new Sony Building will be completed, expanding the park while maintaining its original concept. [Client's Challenges/Requests] Our role was from working drawings to construction, but we needed to proceed with design and fabrication simultaneously with the demolition work. While considering time savings and costs, the goal was to achieve maximum effect with minimal actions, based on the idea of " concept design the demolition" without adding unnecessary elements. Our theme was how to integrate into the project team and ensure proposals and quality that exceeded expectations in response to the project team's requests. [Solution] We participated in the project by thoroughly performing basic tasks, such as preparing the latest fabrication schedule and on-site process at the project's regular meetings to constantly share progress, and thoroughly checking the detailed working drawings, fabrication drawings, construction drawings, finish samples, and partial detail drawings, as well as maintaining close communication with the project team. [Customer Feedback] Despite the extremely tight schedule, thanks to the careful communication between our partner, the concept design team, the construction team, and our company, we were able to successfully open on August 9th. I believe the greatest benefit was that construction, which involved quite complex adjustments, was completed on time. Thank you very much. <Our Project Members> Sales: Kazunari Sato Production & construction: Kiyoshi Katayama, Yoshihiro Akiyama
