[Outline of the project]
PR project for SK-II's super prestige series MASTERPIECE PITERA.
In order to experience the world view of MASTERPIECE PITERA as it is, we have constructed a space with a series of flows that go through the facade that imitates the package and enter the bottle as it is. Regarding the material that wraps the space, we carefully extracted the characteristics of each package and bottle and replaced it with the space.
The distinctive bottle design extracts sparkle, reflection, and a sense of depth, which are then expressed by layering 52 polycarbonate screens of varying widths, each covered with an original film. By using polycarbonate, we were able to simultaneously overcome issues related to load-bearing capacity for buildings and interiors restrictions such as the use of non-combustible materials, which could not be resolved with glass or acrylic.
An original image inspired by PITERA is projected on the central table, and by further emphasizing the identity with the flickering ripples that interact with it and the reacting ripples, it is an attractive experience that makes you feel as if you are inside a bottle. I thought about becoming
