[Project Overview]
A curated pickle shop showcasing Japan's pickle culture from Ginza.
We are a select shop selling delicious pickles from all over Japan, including our own products. We offer seasonal pickles made with fresh vegetables, allowing customers to sample and enjoy them.
We carefully selected ingredients and concept design the packaging from scratch to ensure it is a popular Japanese souvenir and of a quality suitable for gift-giving.
Our company provides comprehensive services, from branding and menu development to design administration, interiors concept design and construction, and operation, management.

[Customer issues]
Yamau Co., Ltd., a long-established pickle store that was engaged in manufacturing and wholesale, opened its first flagship store in Ginza. As a product, it was required not only to sell it, but also to be a base for disseminating “tsukemono culture” unique to Japan.
Regarding the architecture, there were various regulations due to the location of Ginza, and the challenge was to make the building suitable for the city of Ginza, with a Japanese appearance while being a four-story pencil building with a frontage of 5m.

【solution】
In order to make it suitable for the town of Ginza, we formed a façade that arranged the design of Kumiko, which is a "Japanese" technique. With good old "tradition" and "modernity" that matches the times, appealing "innovation" that attracts people, the interior combines traditional materials and finishes to express nostalgia, relief, and comfort. bottom. There is also a unique sweets shop with the theme of pickles.
