Marunouchi Street Park 2021 Summer

Marunouchi Street Park, which began in 2019, is a social experiment project to examine the future state and utilization of Marunouchi Nakadori. In the summer, the spatial concept was "Let's connect, summer street," and each of the three blocks spanning approximately 300 meters was developed with a different theme, while keeping in mind the connections between culture, regions, and people that are unique to Marunouchi. Block 1 in front of the Maru Building is themed on "Sports & Relax," and is planned as a wellness street where you can move your body and relax while refreshing yourself, with a ping-pong counter where you can enjoy table tennis and a deck with balance balls. Block 2 is themed on "Enjoy Eating Out," and offers the fun of eating in a parklet space surrounded by fairwood while enjoying outdoor live painting by artists based on the concept of SDGs and street piano. Block 3 is themed on "PARKcation," and was well received for its grass-surrounded workplace and cycle counter that represent the grassy hills swaying in the wind, and a summer beach resort scene using coral sand from Okinawa. In terms of safety and health, we also implemented special infection control measures such as measures against strong winds from typhoons and building winds, and spraying the entire building with an anti-viral coating. (Dates: August 2, 2021 to September 12, 2021) Fair Wood Initiatives For fixtures such as the counters, Nishikawa cedar and larch wood thinned in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture is used. The design took advantage of the grain and color characteristics of the distinctive cedar heartwood known as the "black heart" and structural plywood. Marunouchi Street Park 2021 Winter

Marunouchi Street Park, which began in 2019, is a social experiment project to examine the future state and utilization of Marunouchi Nakadori. In winter, the spatial concept was "Amazing Winter Street," and scenes were created in three blocks spanning approximately 300 meters, where visitors could feel the warmth with all five senses while enjoying the illuminations. Block 1 was themed "Wonder Dining!" and featured a playful area with a glass house where visitors could dine while enjoying the illuminations, tree hammocks, and big chess. Block 2 was themed "Wonder Lounge!" and featured a two-story hut that served as a general information center and shop, a postbox with a simulated flame for posting purchased Christmas cards, a billiards table that could be enjoyed under the illuminations, and a fire pit where visitors could relax and enjoy the street piano. Block 3 is themed "Wonder Terrace!" and features a "Corridor of Light" covered with mirrors and an "Artists in Fire Terrace" where artists can work around a fake fire in the fireplace. (Date: 2021/12/2-12/25) "Illumination Tour for the Visually Impaired 2021 Winter" hosted by our company This tour is based on the theme of "dialogue" and is a walking tour that allows "everyone" to truly experience a "comfortable space". Volunteer staff will escort the visually impaired to the three blocks (total length approximately 300m) of Nakadori Street in winter, which is beautifully illuminated. We aimed to create a program that allows people with visual impairments to enjoy the beautiful illuminations through conversations that warm the body and mind. During the "Marunouchi Street Park 2021 Summer" (August-September) event, visually impaired people were seen using the park, so we conducted interviews with people who are visually impaired from birth. The results were: "The places I want to go are places I've been to once and enjoyed," "I'm nervous about taking the first step when going to a new place," "I didn't know Marunouchi was a park," and "Because I can't see, I enjoy things by using my imagination." Therefore, if we can kindly and carefully convey the charm of Marunouchi by "using a method of announcements that can be properly conveyed to visually impaired people" and "providing guidance with reliable support," they will want to "go again" and will love Marunouchi Nakadori even more. This project is the culmination project of "With an exclusive area of more than 100m2 in the heart of Tokyo, a brand that focuses on location and asset value and offers essential lifestyle through renovation."= "R 100 TOKYO" developed by Rivita. our company provided construction support for the renovation of Opas Arisugawa, a residence representing Tokyo with an exclusive area of approximately 198m2, which was created by OEO Studio, a Danish concept design company, in concept design. Based on the concepts of "CROSS-CULTURAL" and "COMPELLING MINIMALISM," this concept design living space incorporates new proposals based on the sensibilities common to Scandinavia and Japan. By using a lot of natural materials, such as solid wood, which develops its flavor the more you use it, the longer you live in it, the more blessings it will bring to your life. This new housing is a realization of the "value housing 100 years into the future" that "R 100 TOKYO" aims for. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] In the recent high-end residential market in central Tokyo, there is a growing demand for homes with unique values that are not limited to conventional values such as real estate prices and housing functions. HIRODEN etto

HIRODEN etto, a tourist and commercial facility operated by the Hiroshima Electric Railway Group, opened in April of the same year on a site adjacent to the Miyajimaguchi Passenger Terminal, which began service in February 2020 as part of the Miyajimaguchi Area Port Improvement Project promoted by Hiroshima Prefecture. Under the concept of "DISCOVER MIYAJIMAGUCHI," the facility consists of 16 stores, mainly owned and operated by companies headquartered in the prefecture. The facility offers both everyday (local) and extraordinary (sightseeing) pleasures with Hiroshima's unique flavor, and provides a "fun, delicious, and new Hiroshima" experience to tourists and local residents alike. The new urban planning road was proposed as a measure to alleviate the chronic traffic congestion on National Route 2, which is the main route of daily life for local residents. In conjunction with this plan, it was decided to redevelop the aging passenger terminal by expanding the reclaimed land, and relocate the tourist product facility directly operated by the Hiroshima Electric Railway Group and the Hiroden Miyajima-guchi Station building/track. We were asked to create a scenario for a medium- to long-term phased development and to make a proposal for a new facility to be built by the Hiroshima Electric Railway Group on the land adjacent to the passenger terminal, which would be a suitable prologue and epilogue to the Miyajima Pilgrimage. We thought it was important to develop a development strategy from a regional branding perspective to give Miyajima-guchi, which is a transit point to Miyajima, "the power of the place". We also wanted to create a place and space that would add a new identity to Miyajimaguchi, which has no colors, through a naming and VI plan (*). The project took both a soft and hard approach to the creation of a place and space that would add color to the first phase of the Miyajima-guchi Town Opening. This approach has created new employment opportunities and contributed to the economic cycle in Miyajima-guchi by providing a new place of business, especially for local businesses. In addition, as a model case of regional development through private-sector involvement in a government-led redevelopment project, the project embodied the Hiroshima Electric Railway Group's management vision of "Connecting people with people to create an attractive future for the region," and fostered a sense of anticipation for later development. S-PAL Koriyama

This project reopened the south side zone on the first floor of the main building of S-PAL Koriyama, adjacent to JR Koriyama Station. Numerous shops have been opened to increase the mobility of daily use, meet the diverse needs of customers, and coordinate lifestyles. The proposed environmental design concept is [RAMBLING STATION TOWN]. The theme is "an urban shopping center where people gather at the station and spend a comfortable time, just like enjoying a stroll around town," and the whole area is wrapped in a fashionable and gentle atmosphere. Specifically, the facility facade is equipped with a "rhythm line border" with indirect light, which is reminiscent of Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, a "music city" with a lot of musical activity. It is deployed to envelop the station concourse, creating a new patio for people walking around the city and S-PAL Koriyama. In addition, a folded ceiling made of wood and white rhythm lines with a "music score" concept design element is placed in conjunction with the Nakajima tenant environment. The rhythmic guidance draws people to the back of the facility. As an urban shopping center, S-PAL Koriyama aims to be a place that is supported by customers of all ages. [Social issues / Customer issues / Requests] - As the project was being promoted at the same time as the COVID-19 pandemic in the fall of 2020, the way in which commercial activities were conducted was questioned. - Due to the earthquake in the spring of 2021, a safe design was strongly required. - Upcycling of the environment was required to use the existing lease lines without changing the main flow of traffic. [Solution] Although the circulation lines are existing, the floor material has been renewed to a cobblestone style, and wooden materials that connect the entire facility have been incorporated in some areas to create a street where people can enjoy strolling around the city. In the atrium environment that serves as the axis of vertical circulation in the facility, a "rhythmic line gate" reminiscent of the "music city" has been added to the existing design, and the new center court has been renovated as a concept design symbol for the entire facility, providing visitors with a natural and symbolic park environment that combines "things x events x time". S-PAL Sendai II

A proposal competition was held for the complete renewal of SEPPAL SENDAI II in June 2020, 13 years after its opening in 2008, and we were selected. The environmental design concept we proposed for the renewal is [MORI TERRACE], to refine Tohoku's highest level of sensitivity and to transform it into a new select store zone that offers proposals that are one step ahead of customers' lifestyles. Under the themes of "cozier than anywhere else" and "inspiration for everyday life," the entire space was composed based on organic lines and earth colors, enveloping the entire area in a mode and gentle atmosphere. Specifically, "big awnings and greenery" were deployed in the exterior plaza to create a new nexus between the facility and the people on the street. In addition, a light court on the ceiling, which is an element of "sunlight filtering through the trees" (concept design), is placed inside the facility in conjunction with the corridor environment, drawing people to the back of the facility through the sunlight. The light court is linked to the passageway environment, leading people to the back of the facility through the trees. The building aims to be a place where customers of all ages with next-generation values can feel "relaxation and a sense of fun" with a sophisticated sensitivity. The project started in August 2020, when the Corona Disaster was to be promoted, and it was a development project that was questioned as to how to attract customers to commercial facilities. While negotiations with tenants were difficult, 90% of the main traffic lines were to be used by existing lines, and an upcycling of the environment was required. In addition to attracting customers, the project was also required to create a "new nexus between people on the street and S-PAR Sendai," and to attract and spread people further into the facility. SOLUTION: We installed "the most comfortable big awning and greenery" and "LED vision that provides inspiration for daily life" in the external plaza as a nodal point for people on the street, and as an information transmission plaza for this facility located at the northernmost point of S-PAR Sendai, we are providing information about events and tenants to the people on the street. Careritz & Partners Co., Ltd. is a company that is growing rapidly in the nursing care business, mainly in home care services, by utilizing IT technology. We concept design the entrance and meeting room, which will be the face of the company, when the company expanded its head office from the 8th floor to the 15th floor of Shinjuku Miraina Tower. [Social Issues / Customer Issues / Requests] Since many job interviews are held, the company wanted a space where job seekers could relax during the interview and an entrance that would give a sense of the company's growth. [Solution] Since the corporate color is green, live plants were placed in a lattice, and the plants eventually grew and grew out of the frame, representing "growth without being bound by frames." In addition, by dividing the meeting room with a glass partition, a sense of spaciousness was created, and an open space that makes use of the borrowed scenery was realized. Since the color green has a visually relaxing effect, the floor of the meeting room is covered with wood and green carpet. In addition, in response to the increase in online meetings, we have prepared a telecon booth for 1 to 2 people and a meeting room that can seat from 4 to a maximum of 20 people so that it can be used according to the number of people in the meeting. Suiheisha 100th Anniversary Project Suiheisha Museum displays Renewal

This museum conveys the history of the Suiheisha, which became the linchpin of the Buraku Liberation Movement, which aims to establish peace and human rights. The latest renovation is a commemorative project for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Zenkoku Suiheisha, which marks a major milestone since March 3, 1922. In recent years, there has been an increasing tendency to emphasize human rights, such as the enactment of the Human Rights Protection Measures Promotion Act and the Ainu New Act, and the redefinition of museums by the SDGs and the International Council of Museums (ICOM). The Suiheisha Declaration, which was read out at the Zenkoku Suiheisha Founding Conference, was the first human rights declaration in Japan and the first human rights declaration in the world issued by a discriminated minority, stating, "Let there be passion in the human world, and light in humanity." When talking about human rights, the significance of the existence of the Suiheisha Museum, which was established in the birthplace of the Suiheisha and is a hub for disseminating human rights information, is very great. In the renovation, we have once again focused on the Suiheisha Declaration, which became the fundamental spirit of the movement. We have also collected famous quotes from famous people, people close to us, works of art, and works submitted by public entries, bringing inspiration and persuasiveness through the power of words. At the same time, the exhibition is also characterized by its high updateability, allowing comments from the general public to be added at any time. 北九州市総合観光案内所

北九州市の玄関口であるJR小倉駅の公共連絡通路内に新設された観光案内所です。 今後も増大する外国人旅行者をはじめとした観光客の満足度向上と市内周遊の促進を目的に、築約15年経過した既存案内所を閉鎖して、同じ駅構内で場所を移動し、拡張新築することとなりました。 【社会課題/お客様の課題/ご要望】 旅行者にとって利用しやすく居心地の良い空間を作ること、旅行者自身でも観光情報を検索できるようコンテンツの更新可能なデジタルサイネージシステムのハードとソフトも整備すること、外国人旅行者を考慮した外貨両替機などの設置を考慮した設えであること、そしてJNTO(日本政府観光局)認定※1の最高基準「カテゴリー3」※2 の機能を満たし得る案内所とすることなどのご要望がありました。 【解決策】 上記のご要望を満たしたことに加えて、withコロナ時代でも通用する案内所にすることを目標に企画提案しました。 「日本を味わえる九州の玄関口」をコンセプトとし、ものづくりの聖地でもある北九州市の先進性を表しつつ、城下町小倉の伝統デザインも織り込み、内装素材も厳選して安全で清潔な空間を保てるデザインを提案しました。 機能としてはモニターを使った非接触の対面システムや、旅行者がSNSを使って口コミの旅行情報をアップし公開できるシステム、そして夜間は外壁ガラス面が丸ごと北九州市の魅力を発信するサイネージとなる設えなどを提案し採用されています。 北九州市らしい革新的なデザインと、清潔感のある白で統一されており、全面ガラス張りで明るく開放的な立ち寄りやすい雰囲気を醸し出す設えとしています。グレーを基調としたモダンな駅構内にデザイン的に調和しながらも、小倉織をイメージしたデザインや賑わいの要素を取り込むことで案内所としての主張もしています。 北九州市の玄関口、JR小倉駅で、北九州市の魅力を内外のお客様に伝えながら旅の期待を高める象徴的なデザインとなっています。 【お客様の声】 本市が観光案内所として作り出したいと考えていた空間を、提供するサービス等から具体的にデザインに反映し、「北九州市の玄関口」に相応しい観光案内所を形にしていただきました。 駅構内という制約が多い場所にも関わらず、豊かな発想力と高い技術力により、多くの課題を解決することができました。 本市を訪れる多くの観光客の皆さまにご、これまで以上にご利用いただける施設になると期待しています。   ※1.
