Founded in 1979, Hourglass is an international company specializing in luxury watches, with 29 stores in 10 cities, mainly in Asia. . The Ginza store, which opened in 2002, always has a wide selection of carefully selected watches, and sometimes you can enjoy a conversation with the staff with sophisticated knowledge while relaxing on a comfortable sofa while tilting a glass of champagne at the bar counter. This is a shop where you can choose your watch at your leisure.

A grand renovation will be carried out in 2021, and a symbolic bar counter will be boldly installed in the center of the store. increase.
Inspired by the store name "HOUR GLASS", we have concept design a constricted stone grain and custom-made lighting. Starting with custom-made materials that use traditional Japanese craft techniques, we have created a space that creates a high-quality atmosphere and dialogue by stacking up each detail, using materials that have been carefully selected for expression and texture.

The challenge was to create a store with a high-quality, luxurious feel as a store that handles the world's finest brands, and to create added value by visiting a physical store during the corona crisis.

In a store that handles luxury watches, which are the culmination of materials and techniques, we have created a high-quality and sophisticated space by making full use of materials and craftsmanship that have been carefully selected from all over the world in the interiors concept design.
In the location of Ginza, we purposely reduced the product display area, which is very valuable, and set up a bar counter in the center where you can interact with customers. By creating a space, we have created added value that encourages customers to visit our physical stores.

Even though it is a watch shop, we have a bar counter in the center of the store, and the marble wall on the back is concept design to have a stone pattern of the "hourglass" that symbolizes our company. We have received innovative ideas such as the door panel installation, and we have been particular about everything.
