overview

This creative museum opened within the Panasonic Center Tokyo as the successor to RiSuPia, which opened in 2006. It is a place for hands-on learning on themes such as SDGs, based on STEAM education.
We provide an environment where children can experience both learning and creating things, fostering their intellectual curiosity and inspiration.
The space was designed around five themes to encourage curiosity and motivation for creativity: "The feeling that it's okay to get dirty," "The feeling that you can make it yourself," "The feeling that you can rearrange things," "The feeling that you're not confined to a box," and "The feeling that you're having concept design session together."
Furthermore, from the perspective of the SDGs, the existing environment was effectively reused and updated while being incorporated as a concept design motif. The project team's desire to build on the history of the predecessor museum and to create new history is also expressed in the spatial concept design.
