TBS has adopted the area concept of "Shake the World. AKASAKA," aiming for the "Akasaka 2-chome and 6-chome District Redevelopment Plan" and the operation and completion of existing areas (TBS Broadcasting Center, Akasaka Sacas, TBS Akasaka BLITZ Studio, TBS Akasaka ACT Theater, Akasaka Biz Tower) by 2028. As the third phase of this plan, "Akasaka BLITZ," which has previously served as a live performance space and delivered various content, has been renovated into "BLITZ Studio," a new facility dedicated to television program production. The first floor features displays space collaborating with popular programs, and the third floor has a viewing space for the program studios. For this project, we planned, designed, and produced a monument to attract facilities that will contribute to the revival of Akasaka's vibrancy lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a gallery that allows viewers to experience the history of the station from its opening to the present, in the foyer in front of the "BLITZ Studio" and the stairwell leading to the third-floor concept design. The monument embodies the long-standing connection between TBS and its viewers, while also proposing a circular economy from an SDG perspective by creatively reusing 1.4 tons of "discarded viewing and broadcasting equipment and materials." The adjoining stairwell serves as a pathway leading from a gallery tracing the evolution of TBS's viewing media over 70 years to the studio viewing area, creating a space where visitors can experience TBS's history from its founding to the present day in a seamless manner.

A new area connecting "Asakusa" and "Tokyo Skytree Town®" has been born. This is a next-generation entertainment food hall in Kabukicho run by Hamakura Tateki Shoten Seisakusho, the company behind the alley boom, Ebisu Yokocho and Shibuya Yokocho. The approximately 1,000 square meter floor is a food festival district with a total of 10 stores that fuse food, music, and video with the themes of "festivals" and "food from all over the country." From Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu and Okinawa in the south, and neighboring South Korea, we offer local cuisine, B-class gourmet food, rice bowls, noodles, yakitori, gyoza, alcohol, and more, including carefully selected farm-fresh ingredients that show the faces of the producers. The Sunshine 60 Observatory, which opened in 1978, was renovated in 2016 to become an "observatory where you can play," and now, in April 2023, it has reopened as a new facility, "Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbo Park." This facility was inspired by the "pleasant parks with lawns" in Toshima Ward, which has been promoting urban development centered around four parks, and was created with the concept of a "park in the sky," aiming to create a comfortable and open park-like facility that you will want to visit again and again. In the main area on the south side, "Tenbo no Oka," where the cityscape of central Tokyo, including the skyscrapers of Shinjuku, spreads out, a comfortable viewing space unfolds where you can feel the openness that connects you to the landscape and the unity with nature by combining mirrors and greenery. You can also relax on artificial turf that you can get as close as possible to the windows, swing-type benches, cushions and net benches with varying heights, and enjoy the view that unfolds from each viewpoint, as well as the changing scenery of the sky and clouds, in your own way. New features include a crawling space and a baby room, and the café now offers baby food, ensuring that families with young children can relax and enjoy themselves with peace of mind. With a space filled with a floating, neon-lit concept design, a multitude of the latest content gathers together, making it a place where you can play, drink, and connect—a truly captivating place that you'll want to gather for your second stop on a Tokyo night. "SMART AQUARiUM SHIZUOKA" is a stylish aquarium that is close to your daily life. Along with the large-scale renovation of the Matsuzakaya Shizuoka store for the first time in 25 years, we will create a new bustling area in front of Shizuoka Station. This project was realized because the purpose of creating was consistent with the concept of the smart aquarium business. It is a place where you can discover the beauty and wonder of living things and find hints for future living. It is a facility that can contribute to environmental society by arousing interest in living creatures and the environment while delivering healing and excitement to visitors.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Nagoya Anpanman Children's Museum & Park, which opened in 2010, we will be in charge of the expansion of the "Takashi Yanase Theater" and the renovation of the "Big Tree and Forest of Play" as a power-up measure that will be responsible for the next 10 years. Thank you. Among the Anpanman Children's Museums in Japan, this facility is particularly focused on character shows and greetings, and will be a project of a dedicated theater where full-scale shows can be held and a plaza where parents and children can participate in play and events. Based on the concept of "Takashi Yanase Theater" and "Anpanman and his friends came when we were playing in the children's room," we created a warm wooden space and used building blocks, which are familiar toys for young children, as a motif. The building blocks, both inside and outside of the building, are integrated with the building framework so that the overall effect is large. In addition, by constructing the interior of the building with the vehicles, mechanics, and bread factory that appear in the anime, we have created a production that creates conversations between parents and children even during intermissions. Based on the concept of “a forest of big trees and play” and “the open space where Anpanman and his friends used to play until a little while ago”, a symbolic tree is arranged in the center, and it is a free space where parents and children can play around it and staff can hold events. increase. As the main platform for the "RED°" brand, Japan's largest esports park has been created inside Tokyo Tower, an icon of Tokyo/Japan. This entertainment facility aims to be the forefront stage for the evolution of esports into a national culture, offering an "otherworldly entertainment experience" packed with fun in every aspect, from playing the latest game titles to enjoying tournaments and events in a stadium equipped with the world's most advanced XR technology. While making the most of the building's age, the design avoids making the overall space too polished, preserving the character and texture of the materials that come with age, and creating concept design that makes you aware that it is an interior space of Tokyo Tower. The strength created by showcasing the texture of metal and mortar and the structure itself makes the space seem as if it is encroaching on Tokyo Tower. Anticipating collaborations with companies and manufacturers, a versatile yet edgy neutral color is used as the base, and the brand color "TOKYO RED," which is also the name of the facility, is effectively incorporated into the space, making a strong impression of the RED° brand. By combining it with video effects, we have created a new, futuristic space.

This project involved the design, construction operation of the Sega booth at Tokyo Game Show 2022. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, this marked the first in-person event in three years since 2019.

This project is organized by the "Art Project Executive Committee," established by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Port and Harbor to further enhance the appeal of the waterfront sub-center area and establish art as a part of the city. Our company was in charge of planning and managing the "ARTBAY TOKYO Art Festival 2022," which was held in 2022. The purpose of this project was to promote the appeal of the waterfront sub-center and art to many people through the first art festival held in the waterfront sub-center, and to increase awareness of "ARTBAY TOKYO." Therefore, this project required handling a wide range of tasks, from displays artworks and managing operations to creating and managing a dedicated festival website, public relations, and creating AR content.

To commemorate its 10th anniversary in 2021, Tokyo Skytree underwent a renovation of its 4th-floor entrance area. The renovation aimed to create a more user-friendly entrance route for visitors and to reduce the number of face-to-face ticket sales counters in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The renovation included relocating the existing ticket counters and opening a new displays area, "SKYTREE® ARCHIVES," on July 1, 2021. This area showcases the history of the Oshiage district where Tokyo Skytree stands, as well as the role of the radio tower, in a timeline format using videos and photographs. The "Sumida River Digital Scroll," previously displays on the 1st-floor group area, has also been moved to this area. Our company was responsible for design, layout, construction of the new ticket counters, "SKYTREE® ARCHIVES," and the "Sumida River Digital Scroll." Furthermore, our company has been supporting the creation of spaces within Tokyo Skytree Town® (Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Solamachi®) since its opening in 2012. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] - The ticket counter is the first place many people visit, both domestically and internationally. Therefore, we received requests for a design that is easy for anyone to understand, harmonious with environmental design, and improved hospitality and service. - For "SKYTREE® ARCHIVES," we received requests for a concept design and displays method that would allow customers to view and understand large-scale video, a historical timeline, and actual displays in a limited space, and that would be interesting for customers. [Solutions] - To make the presence of the ticket counter easily understandable, we positioned it facing the entrance on the 4th floor and adopted a calm, traditional concept design that blends with the environment. In addition, we installed easily visible signage above and used cut glass decorative material on the back of the counter, illuminating it with indirect lighting so that it can be intuitively understood even from a distance. - For "SKYTREE® ARCHIVES," we conducted on-site mock-up checks with stakeholders regarding graphic colors and sizes, displays placement, and lighting plan to verify and get closer to the ideal form. The exhibition has been transformed into a more impactful piece of content, emphasizing the continuity of the "Sumida River Digital Scroll" by arranging all the images in a continuous sequence. The area around Tokyo Station is a diverse city where "history," "future," and "culture" coexist. In this area, the year-end light event has been a regular winter tradition since the "Tokyo Millenario" was held in 1999. In 2021, which was marked by various hardships, the theme was "The Scene of Dawn," and the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building, Tokyo Station Marunouchi Central Plaza, and Gyoko-dori were illuminated with gentle light, creating an atmosphere that would allow visitors to feel the dawn of a new era. [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] We received a request to send a positive message to society and reduce carbon dioxide emissions through a special light-up of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building, a historic building that can be called the face of Tokyo. [Solution] From the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building to the station plaza and Gyoko-dori, a color light-up was carried out with colors that evoke the "dawn sky." The new attraction area "Godzilla Interception Operation ~National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center~" at the Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park Anime Park "Nijigen no Mori" is the world's only entertainment attraction that truly allows visitors to experience the immense power and intensity of the world's largest, life-sized Godzilla, approximately 120m in length, that landed on Awaji Island*. Our company was in charge of planning, direction, concept design, and sculpting supervision. Participants become members of the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center and take on missions such as a thrilling "zipline" that takes them into the body through the mouth of the life-sized Godzilla, and a "shooting game" to annihilate Godzilla cells scattered around. *This is a recreation of the 118.5m long Godzilla that appeared in the movie "Shin Godzilla" (2016), with its upper body, right arm, and tail protruding from the ground. The visible portion of the structure measures approximately 52.6m in length, 25.4m in width, and 23m in height. The attraction area covers approximately 5,000m². [Social Issues/Customer Issues/Requests] This will be Nijigen no Mori's largest project to date, offering a life-sized Godzilla experience. As the overall producer of this project, the challenge for both Toho Co., Ltd., the copyright holder, and Nijigen no Mori Co., Ltd., the operator, was how to provide the highest level of planning, experience, and production quality to create an attraction that the world can be proud of. [Solution] First, we deepened our knowledge of content that has been loved around the world for many years, and combined that with the unique location within Awaji Island Prefectural Park to create a planned experience that would attract visitors not only from Japan but from all over the world. In addition, in supervising the production, we visited overseas factories and directly advised them with the know-how and knowledge we have cultivated, guiding them to final completion.
