OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi by Hoshino Resorts, a hotel set to serve as a celestial hub, inheriting the history of Yokohama's Bashamichi district (opening January 15, 2026). From planning to completion, Hoshino Resorts handled the entire project, from planning to concept design, engineering, and construction, in just under a year. Based on the concept of a "CRUISE SHIP," the entire space is imbued with the romance and playfulness of nautical life. The public space on the 46th floor takes advantage of the mixed use of existing tenants and the limitations of public open space to create a circulation flow that evokes the "interior of a ship." By exploring the lounge reminiscent of the bow of a ship, the mirror deck that amplifies the night view, the gallery, and the theater, we have created an "interior ship experience" that heightens the sense of exhilaration. The guest rooms, taking full advantage of the existing kitchen, were designed to resemble "ship's cabins," allowing for intimate moments with friends. We valued the density that can only be achieved with limited space, creating a functional and intimate space. The design, which reflects the colors and fonts associated with the Hikawa Maru, Yokohama's most iconic ship, acts as a switch that shifts your perspective from a voyage above the clouds to a deep stroll through the city.

Gora Kadan Fuji, which faces the peak of Mount Fuji directly west and offers panoramic views from all 42 guest rooms and public areas, is the first accommodation facility opened by the venerable Hakone inn "Gora Kadan." We were responsible for design, layout of the common areas, such as the lobby lounge in the reception building, dining, bar, spa, and shop, as well as the FFE (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) concept design for all areas, including the guest rooms.

On Sunday, July 13, 2025, the IG Arena held its grand opening in Meijo Park, overlooking Nagoya Castle in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. Boasting a capacity of 17,000 people and a 30-meter ceiling, making it one of the largest arenas in Japan, the arena employs a hybrid oval surface that combines an oval shape suitable for watching sports with a horseshoe shape suitable for concerts, improving both visibility and acoustics. We were responsible for the planning, design, and construction of the d CARD LOUNGE (premium lounge), which provides a premium viewing experience at the IG Arena, helping to provide a hospitality space in both its physical and intangible aspects that makes you forget you're in an arena. We have also signed an official supplier contract for the IG Arena.

An old folk house in Tomonoura, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, has been renovated into the auberge "RiSA DINING & STAY" of the "Shiomachi Hotel." The first floor houses a restaurant for guests, and the second floor houses two guest rooms. The complex building is made up of several connected old folk houses, and we worked with local collaborators to resolve various issues before completing the project. While respecting the client's desire to cherish the historic Tomonoura area, which has flourished as a port town since the time of the Manyoshu, we aimed to create a comfortable space where the past and present blend together by incorporating modern concept design into the old building.

This is a renovation project for the GORA KADAN FUJI GOLF golf course, located on the majestic, undulating ground at the foot of Mount Fuji, adjacent to the GORA KADAN FUJI hotel, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2025. Our company was responsible interiors and FFE concept design of the common areas of the approximately 2,600m2, two-story clubhouse, including the entrance, lobby, lounge, restaurant/bar, suites, shops, lockers/bathrooms, as well as the interiors working drawings, basic and working drawings the facilities, supervision, and interiors /FFE construction for the entire building. With an eye toward creating a sense of quality that would align with the Gora Kadan brand of luxury hotels, we created a modern and elegant clubhouse space using brick, wood, and marble as the main themes.

TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY, a neighborhood directly connected to JR Takanawa Gateway Station, and THE LINKPILLAR 1 SOUTH, a skyscraper located directly opposite the station, boast an outstanding location with excellent access to major areas of the city center as well as Haneda and Narita airports and Shinagawa Station. The JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo, located on the 23rd to 30th floors of the building, is the second JW Marriott brand hotel in Japan named after founder J. Willard Marriott, and is one of the most prestigious brands among the more than 30 brands operated by Marriott International. Our company was responsible for interiors construction of public areas such as the lobby, restaurant and bar, pool, and banquet hall of the JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo, which will have its grand opening on October 2, 2025. To embody concept design of Yabu Pushelberg, an internationally acclaimed concept design studio that has worked on many luxury hotels, including Marriott, we worked together with project management and local architects over a period of just over three years.

This project involved rebranding a 40-year-old hotel located near Kirishima Shrine at the foot of the Kirishima Mountains in Kagoshima Prefecture as "The Pulse Kirishima." The old hotel was purchased by a real estate investment fund and underwent a complete renovation. We designed the interior and concept design of the entire building, and collaborated with a local general contractor for construction, enabling the hotel to open in just one year from the start of design.

All floors of Loisir Hotel Shinagawa Seaside are located on high floors, with the reception and conference rooms on the 16th floor and seven floors of guest rooms on the 17th to 22nd floors. For this latest renovation, we were responsible for renovating the 50 guest rooms on the 18th floor. Taking advantage of the hotel's unique location and focusing on its convenient access to tourist attractions, we reflected concept design in the first experience of the stay. Based on the concept of "a space where the first step of a journey begins," we aimed to create a space where guests can feel the hospitality of the hotel by dividing the stay experience into smaller parts and incorporating concept design into that "first action." Furthermore, to take advantage of the unique scenery of the area, we incorporated the colors of the container terminal in the port area in front of the hotel into the FF&E, incorporating the outside scenery into the space as a backdrop.

We renovated the Mountain Center, located at the base of the Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu slopes in Abuta District, Hokkaido. The facility consists of two floors: a shop and ticket counter on the first floor and a restaurant on the second floor. The renovation expanded the first-floor sales floor by 1.6 times, and the second-floor restaurant, renamed "sanshoku," underwent a complete redesign along with its spatial presentation. The design interpreted the facility as a place to see off guests arriving at Grand Hirafu and onto the slopes, and a place to welcome guests returning from the slopes. By blending the generous, concept design nature of Hokkaido with the newly enhanced, cool brand identity symbolized by "Hirafu Blue," and sprinkling these elements into the vibrant, one-of-a-kind atmosphere unique to resort facilities, we aimed to create a space that offers a unique, cool yet warm experience.

Tokiwakan, a ryokan inn in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture, was beloved by many literary figures during the late Meiji period. The Ume Annex, originally built as a detached building, has been reborn as "THE COVE," a Gamagori Classic Hotel accommodation facility, offering a whole-house rental experience. Based on the concept of "encountering the blessings of the region surrounding Mikawa Bay and enjoying them with all five senses," the hotel makes the most of the renowned building, a registered tangible cultural property, and the views it commands, nestled on a hill overlooking Takeshima Island in the tranquil Mikawa Bay. Furthermore, by adding a touch of "newness" where necessary, the hotel creates a pleasant contrast and an extraordinary lodging experience. The hotel is packed with the charms of the region, featuring artwork using traditional techniques handed down in the area and the development of original drinks crafted by local people using local ingredients.

Ceravie Resort Izumigo Co., Ltd. operates hotels, cottages, and dog resort facilities in 11 locations across Japan. We were in charge of renovating the restaurant at "AMBIENT Azumino Hotel," a mountain resort surrounded by the Northern Alps. The background to the plan was to improve the efficiency of operations by expanding and consolidating the restaurant, which was previously divided into two floors, the basement and the first floor, onto the first floor, and to create a resort atmosphere with the magnificent Northern Alps visible from the observation terrace on the first floor, thereby improving the value of the customer experience. The plan was to create an extraordinary atmosphere using space, furniture, and decorations that reflect the region's unique culture, history, and crafts, and to create a new live kitchen that uses local ingredients to create cooking methods unique to the area, and to incorporate elements that will make customers want to stay again.

The venerable RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka, which has a history of 90 years since its founding and has been loved by many guests, including state guests and the Imperial family, as the "Guest House of Osaka," has introduced the "Vignette Collection," one of the brands of IHG Hotels & Resorts, and has made its grand opening as the "RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka Vignette Collection" in preparation for the opening of the Osaka-Kansai Expo in April 2025. The hotel has been renovated into a space that will be loved for generations to come, inheriting the hotel's history and identity and incorporating the charm of the beautiful surrounding scenery unique to the city of water. In this renovation, we were responsible for concept design of the entrance, reception, public areas, guest rooms, banquet halls, and gym, as well as working drawings and construction of the guest room area, art, and FF&E.

The hotel is directly connected to Kitahiroshima Station on the JR Chitose Line, the closest station to Hokkaido Ballpark F Village. The first to third floors are commercial facilities, and the fourth to thirteenth floors are the hotel with a total of 158 guest rooms. We were mainly in charge of concept design and construction of the hotel lobby and the guest room floor on the 11th floor, which has a Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters theme. The lobby space is sprinkled with baseball-themed elements, and the ceiling features an image of the Fighters' home stadium, S.Con Field HOKKAIDO, and the Fighters colors are used to create an exciting space. The Fighters floor has a corridor as a gallery space, where autographed uniforms and photos of players are displays, and the guest rooms are chicly coordinated in black to evoke the image of S.Con Field, and you can see the stadium from the windows.

This is a renovation project for an inn located in the western part of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture. This project is the second and third phase renewal of "Atara Yoru Nishiizu," named after a poem in the Manyoshu collection, "A wonderful night that is a pity to see it end." In the first phase, we renovated the suites and bar, in the second phase, we renovated the guest rooms, and in the third phase, we renovated the façade, lobby, rooftop terrace (foot bath), common corridor, and live kitchen, and we were in charge of the complete renovation. We created an experience where you can enjoy the evening, with spacious and comfortable guest rooms where young couples and married couples can relax, a lobby where you can roast and eat marshmallows while soaking your feet in a foot bath, and a rooftop terrace with a foot bath where you can enjoy watching the horizon of Nishiizu.

We designed and concept design the entire house, from design administration concept design the interior design and exterior concept design. The site overlooks the Sea of Japan, and the area is known as a scenic spot with a dynamic topography called "cave". On the other hand, if you look at the surrounding area, you will see that the labyrinth-like intricate alleys create a unique streetscape. This is a feature unique to this area, with a square-shaped structure with cranked intersections to prevent the north wind from blowing through. By incorporating this unique alley structure into the ground floor plan, the architectural volume is segmented and harmonizes with the surrounding environment. The exterior and entrance hall are structured like a topography based on the motif of the ria coast, and the continuity with the streetscape is ensured by setting back from the south side. On the other hand, the north façade is raised one step higher than the surrounding area, and has a three-dimensional square-shaped structure intended to prevent the north wind from blowing through to the city. For the exterior finish, in order to echo the external characteristics of the ria coastline, with its rocky surface at the bottom and lush trees at the top, we used rock-like concrete with exposed aggregates for the lower layer, and wood-grain concrete with cedar board formwork for the upper layer. Both the aggregates that appear on the surface and the cedar board formwork materials are made from materials that can be collected in the area, and we hope that the unique expressions of the materials will weave the unique scenery of the location into the future. In addition, by applying this two-tiered structure to the finishes of the interior spaces as well, it creates a sense of unity with the architecture, contributing to fostering a sense of unity between the inside and outside.
