「浅草」と「東京スカイツリータウン®」を結ぶ新たなエリアが誕生しました。「東京ミズマチ®」は東武鉄道株式会社と墨田区の連携による、鉄道高架下複合商業施設です。「Live to Trip ～人・地域・文化が行き交い、旅するように過ごし、暮らすように旅する～」をコンセプトに、イーストトーキョーに根付くバイプレイヤーとイーストトーキョーで拠点を持ちたいプレイヤーたちなど路面型のプレイヤーを中心に、小さな個性の集合体として「東京ミズマチ®」という街づくりを行うことで、浅草や東京スカイツリーと連動し、本エリアの回遊スポットとして、【地域密着×観光レジャー消費】の融合を目指しました。

パナソニックセンター東京の1階が、小中学生が環境について学び考え、行動へとつなげる体験型展示空間へとリニューアルされました。この空間では、パナソニックのCO2削減への取り組みである長期環境ビジョン「Panasonic GREEN IMPACT」を紹介しながら、子どもたち一人ひとりが「ACT」へのアイデアを見つけ、環境問題へACTIONしていく仲間となることを目指しています。環境問題という明確な答えのない課題に対して、一人ひとりが答えを探りながら学ぶことのできる場として、空間に散りばめられたさまざまな形状は、これから子どもたちが自らつくってゆく未完成のかたちを表現しています。また、大きな4つのサインで問いを投げかけることで、ゲームコンテンツやハンズオン展示を体験しながらヒントを探ることができます。スケールの大きな環境問題を自分ごとに置き換えながら日常の行動につなげられるように、コンテンツは身近な家の中や暮らしを舞台としています。加えて、「押す」「回す」といったアナログ的なギミックとデジタルコンテンツを融合させたゲームや、仲間との共同作業を通じて、リアル空間ならではの体を使った楽しさや学びを得られるよう工夫しました。

パナソニックグループの大方針である「Panasonic GREEN IMPACT」を展示として来場者に伝えつつも、全体の空間デザインでそれを具現化し、可能な限りロスを出さない展示ブースを実現しました。環境負荷に配慮し、最小限の建築物や床材を使い、リサイクル素材を多く使用することで、ブースの施工・ロジスティックの面から、カーボンフットプリントを削減でき、同グループの方針を世界に伝えました。また、各エリアに配置したシンボルサインはそれぞれプロダクトを使って造形をデザインしました。シンボルとして人びとが集う場を提供しつつ、それらをプロダクトで構成することで、来場者・メディアに向けて共にわかりやすくメッセージをアピールしました。

横丁ブームの元祖「恵比寿横丁」、 「渋谷横丁」などを手掛けた浜倉的商店製作所様が運営する歌舞伎町の次世代エンターテインメントフードホールです。 約1000㎡のフロアには「祭り」と「全国の食」をテーマとした、食と音楽と映像が融合した全10店舗が並ぶ食祭街となっています。北は北海道から南は九州、沖縄、お隣の韓国まで、生産者の顔が見える厳選された産直食材をはじめ、地域料理、B級グルメ、丼、麺、焼鳥、餃子、お酒などの各地の 「ソウルフード」が集結しています。

計画当初、秋草学園様よりお話いただいたのは、体育館耐震改修工事のご相談でした。 耐震工事と、体育館ファサードと内装の一新に伴い、校舎と体育館をつなぐ通路が「ジメジメした雰囲気で暗く、明るくて清潔感のある通路にしたい。学園としても次代に残せるような空間としたい」とのご要望があり、秋草学園のアイデンティティが表現された通路空間をデザインすることになりました。 本計画で、最も重要視したのは、“愛着を持ち続ける空間”とすることです。 そこで今回は、デザインの原点をワークショップにて学生と共に創りだし、愛着を生み、かつ継承されていくための“経過のデザイン”に取組みました。 生徒には、「秋草らしさ」が表現される写真を持参してもらい、“#〇〇”という形で言語化したものから込められた想いを抽出し、デザインとして昇華させ、通路にあしらうこととしました。 生徒が自分ごととしてデザインを咀嚼し、周囲に拡散することで、「秋草らしさ」が代々受け継がれ、愛着をもって空間と接し続けてもらえるよう推進しました。

Taikisha is a world-class global environmental engineering company that contributes to society with advanced technologies related to energy, air, and water. This project is a plan for a communication space aimed at creating open innovation with Taikisha's customers and partner companies. The reception area on the 29th floor of Shinjuku Grand Tower, where Head Office 's headquarters is located, was renovated into a showroom, and our company was responsible for planning, concept design, and digital content production for "TAIKISHA INNOVATION GATE Shinjuku," an entrance for the co-creation of new value that aims to solve the issues of business partners and social problems.

At the "Kadena Roadside Station," you can see the entire Kadena Air Base, the largest US Air Force base in the Far East. This project is a renovation of the "Learning and displays Room" on the third floor of the building, aiming to enrich it as a "place for peace learning" for school trip students and tourists, and a "place for local learning" for local people and children. The contents of displays begin with a prologue that tells us that Kadena Town is truly a "base town" with 82% of the town area being occupied by US military bases, and then trace the history of Kadena Town surrounding the bases from the prewar period when it flourished as the center of economy, culture, and transportation, to the Battle of Okinawa which marked the beginning of the formation of Kadena Air Base, the US military occupation period when the bases continued to expand, the post-reversion period when the burden of the bases continued, and up to the present day, while asking the viewer, "Why are the bases here? Why do they not disappear?" Using the keyword "There's a base in my town," displays unravels the presence of the base from the perspective of "me" and "my family," who have lived next to Kadena Air Base, and features interview footage of people living in Kadena Town and manga commentary featuring "me" and "my family." The displays is designed to help visitors think about life in a base town by displays the noise and smells, and by placing Kadena Air Base on a map to get a sense of its size.

This is the Machida store of PAPABUBBLE, an art candy shop originating from Barcelona, Spain. We aimed to create a symbolic concept design that would be the base of the PAPABUBBLE brand in the Machida area, taking advantage of the long and narrow section located next to the escalator in the shopping mall. The section had low visibility from the entrance of the shopping mall, and the view from the escalator changes from up and down, and it could be approached from multiple traffic lines, so the main viewpoint was not fixed and it was difficult to "show the store's face" and attract customers. Therefore, we made a plan to make good use of the location, which can be seen from all angles, up, down, left and right, thanks to the escalators and multiple traffic lines, and turn it into a strength for attracting customers. Specifically, we boldly arranged about 7m x 90 aluminum bars that resemble candy bars, the symbol of PAPABUBBLE, in the space, and painted each side a different color to create a mechanism that changes color depending on the angle from which it is viewed. This visual effect is used to attract customers into the store, and the floor plan is designed to allow them to enjoy shopping. The gradual color changes also represent the variety of PAPABUBBLE candies and their flavors, which are created through magical performances.

The SC Business Fair, organized by the Japan Shopping Center Association, is one of the largest events in the shopping center industry, bringing together people involved in shopping centers. We exhibited for three days from January 25th to 27th, 2023. In conjunction with the book "Let's Create a Happy Space: The Hardworking People of NOMURA Co.,Ltd.", published in February 2023, we created a "happy space" for visitors with a white-based booth concept design, mirrored walls, books on the fixtures and shelves, and coffee service. Approximately 670 people visited our booth over the three days. * "Let's Create a Happy Space: The Hardworking People of NOMURA Co.,Ltd.": This book introduces our cutting-edge spatial design, from amusement facilities to hotels, museums, and offices, to create spaces that evoke happiness.

This is the Saitama Shintoshin store of PAPABUBBLE, an art candy shop that started in the back alleys of Barcelona and has spread to more than 30 countries around the world. It is an experiential store where candy craftsmen and customers can enjoy candy together through candy making performances that take place in the store. In the Saitama Shintoshin store, we aimed to create a seamless store that removes the boundary between the kitchen space where the performance takes place and the customers as much as possible so that customers can enjoy making candy more realistically. Therefore, the interior concept design is based on the concept of making customers feel as if they are in the kitchen, and the main material is the same stainless steel as the kitchen. Kitchen equipment and kitchen materials are scattered throughout the store. In addition, in the stock space in the store, we deliberately use vinyl curtains for factories to show the ingredients of the candy, maximizing the sense of realism of art candy being created right in front of you. As a next-generation candy shop that is conscious of experiential consumption and SDGs, we have launched a project that allows customers to participate in production, and a new service that transforms the edges of candies that were previously disposed of as scraps into premium products that are difficult to obtain.

Following on from the 15th anniversary renovation in 2013, for which we were in charge of planning and design supervision, we were involved in the 20th anniversary renovation from the planning stage. After several renovations, the hotel was opened in 2019 as a milestone project that marked the completion of the entire renovation. The welcome space on the first floor and the restaurant floor on the fifth floor were completely renovated, the signs within the building were renewed, and new digital signage was installed. The renovation was based on the concept for the 15th anniversary, "Romanticship Umihotaru," and unlike the fourth floor, which had all openings facing the sea, the image of the space was created with only inward-facing openings and special decorations.

This is a renovation project for the Global Innovation Center of Amada, a company that boasts one of the world's top market shares in the metal processing technology and sales and development of processing equipment. The brand appeal area, technology displays, communication space, actual equipment displays area, and sales negotiation space were planned based on the "value that Amada brings to the world." This facility allows visitors to experience the "passion for building bonds with customers and manufacturing that contributes to society" that has been passed down since the company's founding, as well as the high level of technological capabilities, and allows them to feel the possibilities for the future that we will walk together with Amada.

This project involved the renovation of Saijoen Matcha Cafe, operated by AIYA, which opened inside Aeon Mall Toyokawa, the first new mall to open in the East Mikawa region of Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture. We were in charge of design, layout, and construction.

Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, and NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. have opened the TOYAMA TOWN TREKKING SITE, a new lifestyle hub themed on transforming a closed gymnasium into one that connects to the outdoors. This project was selected as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' 2016 "Public Facility Opening and Renovation Project," which aims to revitalize municipal public facilities with the private sector's efforts, such as through creators, and turn them into new business hubs. The goal is to renovate the vacant space of the Toyama City General Gymnasium into a multi-generational hub for residents to engage in town trekking (walking around town). "TTS" is a complex featuring a cafe, sports shop, and studio. The facility supports town trekking (hardware) and hosts regular events in nutrition education, physical education, and health education (software), operating as a new public service to support the health of Toyama residents. Taking advantage of its location adjacent to Kansui Park, which is visited by 1.4 million people annually, the facility will be used not only by users of the Toyama City General Gymnasium but also as a base for exploring the wider area, allowing residents to experience an "extension of healthy life expectancy" and "improvement of quality of life (QOL)." The government also aims to build a "virtuous cycle model between residents' healthy behavior and the local economy." This is a cutting-edge project in Japan. "TTS" provides "time and space that is necessary for the health of people and cities, not just time or space, but time and space for human development," and slowly creates a "space" where you can share something that belongs to you and no one else with someone else.

This is Head Office relocation project for the Wealth Management Group. With the theme of "Bringing a comfortable hotel feel to the office," because Wealth Management is involved in the hotel business, we designed the office space for employees to use for business purposes. Based on the client's corporate philosophy of providing Japanese charm and culture as an "experience value" and delivering excitement and stable prosperity to all customers, the client can choose not only a place where they can concentrate, but also a place where they can relax like in a hotel, and by providing authentic coffee and tea in the work space, we are trying to use these "experience values" in business, and designing it to lead to the prosperity of the client's business.
