This is a trial project towards "creating an inclusive stadium where everyone can enjoy themselves." For the first time, "Sensor-Friendly Tickets" will be sold at the professional baseball Eastern League official game to be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, with the cooperation of the organizers, The Yomiuri Shimbun, Nippon Television, and Tokyo Dome.
Issues/requests
For people who have difficulty going out for various reasons, or who have given up on experiencing things outside, we have partnered with researchers, people directly affected, and experts to create spaces where everyone can feel safe and comfortable. We were asked to utilize our expertise to conduct research, consider the installation of a "sensory room" stadium, and develop experiential devices and concept design items.

We are selling "Sensory-Friendly Tickets" to support everyone in having a safe and enjoyable experience. Primarily designed for children with sensory sensitivities, these tickets address the challenges and potential needs of a wide range of people, not just those who previously found it difficult to attend baseball games.
<Ticket set contents>
① Watching from an area where people are not densely packed (mezzanine seating)
② We will distribute our company's concept design "Sensory Friendly Bag," which contains sensory items, as a novelty item.
③ Items to "prevent or avoid unpleasant sensations" and "protect sensations and explore pleasant sensations" include the rental of sunglasses, earmuffs, and blankets to reduce strong stimuli such as light and sound, and to help people feel calm even in unfamiliar places.
④ Buffet
The bag concept design and logo concept design for the "Sensory Friendly Bag" were handled by NOMURA Co.,Ltd. IVD. The bag's pattern features artwork by contracted artists of Heralbony, a creative company that collaborates with NOMURA Co.,Ltd. on various projects and whose mission is "Unleash your unique style." The bag's concept design also reflects the desire to contribute to creating a society where everyone can easily go out, aiming for a design that can be used not only at events but also for everyday use.
The tickets sold out, and a wide range of people participated, including those with sensory sensitivities, preschool children, and the elderly, allowing us to explore potential needs. We will utilize the results of this trial to create inclusive spaces and strive to improve the value of the sports and entertainment viewing experience.
