Osaka Station Hotel is a new brand hotel belonging to Marriott International's "AUTOGRAPH COLLECTION® HOTELS" and is located on the 1st, 7th, and 29th-38th floors of JP Tower Osaka, directly connected to the west exit of JR Osaka Station. It boasts 418 guest rooms. Standing on the site of the original Osaka Station, which opened in 1874, the hotel's brand concept is "THE OSAKA TIME," and its spatial concept design philosophy is "TIME TRAVEL," a journey through time and space that evokes memories of the former station and railway throughout the hotel. At the beginning of the hotel, the red bricks used in the original Osaka Station are a key source of inspiration, and the 1st-floor entrance, which uses custom-made glass in the symbolic red brick color, and the 29th-floor lobby, which attempts a new expression of brickwork, are positioned as the beginning of this journey through time and space. As you venture further into the hotel, you'll find yourself in a front lobby that modernizes the manned ticket booths of old train stations, a station square where people come and go like a train station waiting area, a lobby lounge with a symbolic gable roof that evokes the memory of the original Osaka Station, an all-day dining room reminiscent of a luxury train's dining car, and a secret bar beyond a door marked "Station Master's Office" at the end of a dimly lit corridor—a unique "journey through time and space" unfolds within this hotel. Art pieces using railway parts and other materials are scattered throughout the hotel, creating a space where space and art become one, connecting memories of the past to the present and future. Our company was responsible for the overall design supervision of the hotel, as well as concept design and construction of the public and F&B areas.
