YKK AP30 Building Philosophy Hall "ENZA"

Located on the first floor of the "YKK AP30 Building," which was constructed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of YKK AP's founding, this is the Philosophy Hall, where you can learn about YKK AP's philosophy and history.

While incorporating elements that embody YKK AP's unique style, such as aluminum, glass, curtains, and light, we have incorporated and visualized our corporate culture of "sitting in a circle, engaging in dialogue, and offering hospitality" into the spatial design.
In displays, we used symbolic displays methods reminiscent of aluminum extrusion technology, contrasts of light and shadow, and immersive video presentations to convey our philosophy, commitment to our products, and our passion through everything that visitors could touch and see.

Rather than simply transmitting information in a one-way manner, we designed the information to appeal to emotions by expressing the concept design of "Architectural Products," which combines technology and beauty, through artistic displays methods. This creates a medium that allows employees to speak in their own words and deepens understanding and relationships with our business partners.
Our aim was to create a space where everyone who visits can experience YKK AP's philosophy, empathize with its aspirations and values, and build a relationship of trust as a partner.

For the new office building commemorating the 30th anniversary of the company's founding, we needed a place that could convey YKK AP's philosophy and recently established purpose, "A company that brings happiness to society through Architectural Products," and where employees around the world can empathize with the company as a reliable partner from a global perspective by showing how they think about and act on this purpose.

To more concretely convey the values that YKK AP cherishes, such as its philosophy and purpose, which are difficult to express in tangible form, we planned displays using the company's commitment to products and the feelings of its employees as starting points. Rather than simply having visitors read explanatory texts, we adopted an artistic approach that blended into the interior, allowing visitors to feel the attention to detail, beauty, technical skill, and passion that are consistent in YKK AP products. Furthermore, we adopted a round-table style that allows visitors to naturally face each other, creating a space for communication through hospitality and dialogue, and fostering trust and empathy.

As a place where customers can experience the YKK AP philosophy, we have incorporated the YKK Group's culture of hospitality by sitting in a circle with customers into the spatial composition and named it "ENZA," which has been well received by customers.
