% Arabica Riyadh Roastery

% Arabica Riyadh Roastery

We designed concept design and supervised construction the second coffee shop in Saudi Arabia for "%ARABICA", a coffee shop brand from Kyoto, Japan. The client requested to renovate a 900㎡ warehouse and install a huge custom-built roasting machine. We therefore planned a theater-like storefront that would take advantage of the vast space while also providing a space to showcase the huge roastery in a captivating manner. The roasting machine, which would be the star of the show, was placed proudly in the center. The main attraction, the roasting machine, is placed proudly in the center, surrounded by the bean cellar, the symbol of "%ARABICA. The restaurant is orchestrated by the excellent baristas of %ARABICA, who also play a leading role. A U-shaped kitchen counter is set up in the center of the restaurant, so that the pleasant sound of the baristas' brilliant performance echoes throughout the restaurant. In order to allow customers to enjoy the live performance of these two main characters from anywhere in the seating area, a large atrium without pillars and seating surrounding it have been arranged. The main part of the seating area is the box seats, which are separated by sheer curtains. In consideration of Saudi Arabia's concern for the distance between men and women, this seating is laid out on two levels on either side of the atrium. Other seating options include bench seating around the kitchen counter, where customers can watch the baristas at work, and counter seating where customers can look out over the entire restaurant. The vaulted ceiling allows pleasant light to stream down through the perforated metal. These features have created a bright and open space where customers can enjoy delicious coffee and theater-oriented concept design and production with all five senses.

Hokkaido Ballpark F Village ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO

Hokkaido Ballpark F Village ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO

In March 2023, "Hokkaido Ball Park F Village" was opened, an area that includes the new stadium of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Located on a vast site of approximately 32 hectares, it is a completely new creative community space that aims to create a community that coexists with nature, offering next-generation live entertainment, wellness solutions that nurture the mind and body, and active cultural exchange. NOMURA was in charge of planning, design, layout, production, and displays construction for multiple areas, concentrating all of its efforts under the theme of "creating a new viewing experience that no one has ever experienced." At the main stadium, ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO, there is a ``BALCONY SUITE'' in the premium area, ``docomo CLUB LOUNGE'' and ``Panasonic CLUB LOUNGE'' in both wings, which combine sand-covered seats and dining, and a panoramic view of the field from the guest rooms. We created spaces such as ``Tower Eleven Hotel,'' which is full of unique character, and ``Tower Eleven Onsen & Sauna,'' which is the world's first hot spring. As mentioned above, the landmark "TOWER 11" located behind left field of the new baseball stadium has facilities such as the world's first in-baseball hot spring and sauna, Japan's first in-baseball hotel with a panoramic view of the field, and a museum, which can be enjoyed all year round. It is an innovative stadium. For example, the world's first "natural hot spring and sauna inside a baseball stadium with a panoramic view of the field" has 24 "Totonoe Terrace Seats" in the semi-outdoor swimsuit zone, and you can watch the game from the sauna room and bathtub. Masu. Together with Dai Matsuo, also known as the professional sauna ``TTNE Totonoe Master'', we created a new style of watching games that has never been seen before. For Hokkaido Ballpark F Village as a whole, in addition to planning the entire outdoor area, we also create a welcome monument. We will continue to work with fans, partners, and local residents to contribute to the team's goal of creating a "co-creative space" that revitalizes local communities and contributes to society.

TBS_AKASAKA BLITZ Monument/Gallery

TBS_AKASAKA BLITZ Monument/Gallery

TBS has an area concept of ``Shake the World. AKASAKA'', and in 2028, TBS will develop the ``Akasaka 2-chome/6-chome area redevelopment plan'' and the existing areas (TBS Broadcasting Center, Akasaka). Sacas, TBS Akasaka BLITZ Studio, TBS Akasaka ACT Theater, and Akasaka Biz Tower) are aiming to be operational and complete. As the third step, ``Akasaka BLITZ'', which has delivered a variety of content as a live space, will be renovated as ``BLITZ Studio'' exclusively for TV program production. There is an displays space in collaboration with popular programs on the first floor, and a viewing space for the program studio on the third floor. In this project, in the foyer of the front space of "BLITZ Studio" and the staircase leading to the studio on the third floor, there will be a facility attraction monument that will contribute to the revival of the vitality of Akasaka, which was lost due to the coronavirus pandemic, and a gallery where you can feel the history from the opening to the present. I planned, concept design, and produced it. The monument embodies the connection between TBS and viewers, and at the same time, from the perspective of SDGs, it proposed a recycling-oriented society by creatively reusing 1.4 tons of viewing and broadcasting equipment and materials scheduled for disposal. The staircase that follows is a flow line that connects the gallery that traces the changes in viewing media over TBS's 70 years to the studio, creating a space where you can experience TBS from its opening to the present day all at once.
