This is an displays facility that conveys the great achievement of the electric locomotive "ED76 No. 509," which pushed through Hokkaido's heavy snowfall and brought about the flow of goods and people. The electric locomotive ED76, which was active in the early days of electrification of the national railway in Hokkaido, had to be dismantled for removal and disposal work because polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), which are of concern for their environmental impact, were used in the vehicle parts. As the dismantling was planned, in order to leave a valuable cultural heritage for future generations, it was decided to preserve the head part and create displays facility. Similar head displays are also held at railway museums nationwide, but this facility aims to allow visitors to experience the "strength" of the vehicle, which cannot be fully conveyed by the head alone, by reproducing the lost fuselage part at full size with outdoor-use graphic panels. The shape, color, and size of the ED76 convey to visitors the great achievement and value that the vehicle brought to Hokkaido.

The fish displays area "SeaZoo" at Kinosaki Marine World in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, is celebrating its 30th anniversary and will reopen on July 25, 2024. The concept of the newly completed displays "CUBE" at "SeaZoo" is "Towards an aquarium with more conversation." The aim is to create a new displays style that encourages curiosity, new discoveries, and free thinking by learning together through conversations with creatures and keepers, 20 cube-shaped aquariums, illustrations, and graphic boards.

In order to pass on the spirit and culture of the indigenous Ainu people to the next generation, Shiranuka Town is promoting town development based on the idea of "Ior (traditional living space)" and has recently opened the Shiranuka Ainu Museum "Pokor" to introduce the Ainu culture passed down in the town. The name of the facility, "Pokor", reflects the desire of the Ainu people of Shiranuka to "cherish the place where they were born and raised", and this desire is expressed through elaborate dioramas that depict Ainu life, realistic reproductions of every nook and cranny of the cise (Ainu dwelling), traditional crafts and beautiful costumes, and the soundscape of "Ior (traditional living space)" that envelops the entire museum. This facility allows you to experience the rich Ainu life that is vividly depicted with your five senses and deepen your understanding by experiencing the Ainu culture that has lived in the harsh yet majestic nature.

The Aichi Sogyokan was newly established on the second floor of STATION Ai, a startup support center developed by Aichi Prefecture. Since ancient times, many entrepreneurs have been active in Aichi Prefecture and developed the industry. In order to understand what kind of encounters and ideas they had, and how they overcame adversity and created innovation, we aimed to create an exhibition that would provide hints for the future for those who will start their own businesses and the children of the next generation through encounters with the beliefs, spirit of challenge, and vision of entrepreneurs, and provide a timeless ``!'' encounter that stimulates creativity. The museum is divided into four zones, and a wide range of information is introduced, from the roots of Aichi's industry to the challenges of many entrepreneurs with ties to Aichi. By creating displays experiential displays that makes full use of digital technology such as video and AI, we provide a learning experience that is both sensual and touching to the heart for everyone from children to adults. In addition to the digital displays, we have also set up a library of books selected to be linked to the content of this facility. With the intention of leading these various displays contents, which combine digital and analog, beyond time and space into the future, we have realized a flexible, streamlined spatial concept design by incorporating the three elements that created Aichi - wood, water, and earth - into the spatial components.

Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden opened in 1924 as Japan's first public botanical garden, and will celebrate its 100th anniversary on January 1, 2024. To mark the 100th anniversary, the garden has developed a new acorn forest area called "Dongreen Lab" in the garden. The area is a 3,000 square meter area in the center of the garden, where more than 10 types of acorn trees, including konara oak and sawtooth oak, are collected from all over the world. The garden has a bear-shaped "acorn post" that allows children to actually pick up acorns and feel their shape and smell, and a "highlight caption" that allows children to feel the diversity of acorns, allowing them to learn about the ecosystem while touching various types of acorns. The collected acorns will also be used in workshops within the garden and as gifts for the bears at Kyoto City Zoo.

This is a museum that conveys the history of transportation in Sapporo. We aimed to create a facility where visitors can "learn, experience, and enjoy" the history of Sapporo's transportation, which has changed in various ways in line with social changes, from horse-drawn railways, trams, buses, and subways. We designed and constructed a memorable experience for visitors through displays and information design that stimulate various senses, such as displays that focus on riding on the wooden No. 22 tram, which has been active in Sapporo since the Taisho era, displays that allow visitors to observe real materials, displays that allow visitors to listen to the sounds of Sapporo's displays, displays that allow visitors to operate a subway model, and concept design that allow visitors to become employees. We construction a promotion system with our Hokkaido branch office and a head office planner who specializes in museums, and were able to balance swift business promotion with customers by taking advantage of the geographical advantage, with the design of information explanations and experiences appropriate for a public transportation museum.

Built in 1973, the Okutadami Power Museum is a promotional facility for the Okutadami Dam (Electric Power Development Co., Ltd.), whose source is the Oze River. Located on a hill overlooking the dam, the museum's main target audience is tourists who come to explore Lake Okutadami and Oze, and groups of elementary school children. As the museum will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2023, it has reopened as a power museum that makes full use of digital technology. The exhibits include a corner where you can learn about the four seasons of Okutadami and the history of the construction of the dam and power plant, and a corner where you can experience the past and present with digitally displays footage of the construction on a large screen and powerful drone footage, making it easier to learn about the Okutadami Dam, the mechanisms of hydroelectric power generation, and energy. You can also enjoy the Uonuma City Interaction Corner, displays of materials used in the Japan Academy Award-winning film "Whiteout," and a trick art corner of Otori Dam, known as the "phantom dam" because it is off-limits, where you can take immersive photos.

Hiroshima Gate Park is a public park that will become the new face of Hiroshima, redeveloped through a park PFI on the site of the former Hiroshima Municipal Baseball Stadium in the center of Hiroshima city. Eight commercial buildings are dotted around a 6,500m2 plaza that can also host large-scale events, encouraging people to wander around the park and bringing a sense of unity to the bustle of events and stores. In addition, we aimed to create a base for various activities and interactions centered around events, fostering a new lifestyle spent outdoors. We participated from the public proposal creation stage, and were in charge of the overall concept, site utilization plan, building layout plan, MD plan, leasing, interior concept design, sign graphics, tenant design and construction, furniture and fixture manufacturing, branding, naming, logo creation, and communication strategy.

"Sky Patio" is a rooftop garden located on the sixth floor of "Pasela," a commercial facility in Motomachi Credo located in the center of Hiroshima. Since 1994, it has been used as a place of relaxation for citizens, overlooking the city of Hiroshima, centered around Hiroshima Castle. This project is positioned as the first step of the Motomachi Credo revitalization project to renovate the facility configuration of Motomachi Credo, including the site of the new Sogo Hiroshima store, which closed in August 2023, and the current Pasela, and to create a new "Pasela." The new "Sky Patio" aims to create an environment where people can enjoy themselves in a variety of ways, and to foster a sense of anticipation for the new Motomachi Credo, through the provision of an extraordinary experience with a newly installed large-screen monitor and a rooftop bar that takes advantage of the night view, as well as the development of a babbling brook and grassy hill that parents and children can enjoy.

Meiji Park is the first metropolitan park to utilize the public installation and management system (Park-PFI) under the Urban Parks Act, and opened in October 2023. The project site is approximately 1.6 hectares of the front yard space of the National Stadium, and the new park is being developed, managed, and operated by Tokyo Legacy Parks Co., Ltd., a consortium of six companies, of which Tokyo Tatemono is the representative constituent organization. We were consulted by Tokyo Tatemono in 2021 and were responsible for the overall planning direction and architectural design supervision. We discussed with the client how to create a new park that embodies the concept of "creating a park that will become a legacy of the city of Tokyo that we can be proud of in the world," and were involved in creating a new park life that meets diverse needs such as well-being and diversity. The park has three plazas, including the approximately 1,000 m2 lawn plaza "Hope Plaza" and the "Michi Plaza" that incorporates a waterscape based on the Shibuya River, as well as the approximately 7,500 m2 wooded area "Pride Forest." Additionally, five retail buildings, which were selected through public competition, have been placed in the park to improve convenience for park users and create a lively atmosphere. Currently, each building is home to cafes, relaxation facilities, restaurants, outdoor activity shops, and more. We were also in charge of the business planning and construction (excluding the sauna area) of the first store of "TOTOPA," an urban spa facility newly developed by the Tokyo Tatemono Group*. Located on the second and third floors of store building A, it features a sauna, a cold bath with a depth of approximately 160 cm, a fitness area, various lounges, and more. *Operator and developer: Tokyo Tatemono, operation: Tokyo Tatemono Resorts

A private park called "AKICHIDE PARK" was opened on a vacant lot in Nagano Shopping Street, Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture, in cooperation with the local community, government and companies, with the aim of restoring the area's former bustle and enriching the lives of each and every citizen. As part of our R&D activities, we agreed with the purpose of this project and participated in the Kawachinagano Station Front Regeneration Conference as a partner company. In preparation for the opening of AKICHIDE PARK, we were actively involved in a wide range of processes, including planning and basic concept, spatial design supervision, sponsorship, and event planning and management cooperation, while also working with other partner companies to revitalize the park even after it opened.

"KAMEOKA VIRTUAL HISTORIA" is a metaverse space that recreates historical and cultural resources such as traditional performing arts, festivals, customs, and nature from all over the city, including cultural assets owned by the Kameoka City Cultural Museum. Participants can experience the history of the region by collecting historical materials scattered throughout the city, set in the streets of Kameoka from the Edo period, including the Kameyama Castle tower and palace, which can no longer be seen today. There is no need to install an app or anything else, and anyone can easily access it from their own device.

MIRAI-Bit is a website where you can experience online on your personal device some of the content related to the permanent displays of Miraikan, which will be reopened in November 2023, including "Aging Park," which allows you to experience the aging that everyone experiences; "Nanairo Quest," which focuses on a future in which robots and humans live together; and "Planetary Crisis," which is about the global environment. In addition, we are running a traveling exhibition in various locations so that science museums and other facilities across the country can experience MIRAI-Bit. We were in charge of creating the content and designing and construction the traveling displays fixtures.

Miraikan, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, opened new permanent displays in November 2023, with the theme of "robots," "Hello! Robot" and "Nanairo Quest - A story of the future of living with robots." "Hello! Robot" is displays that allows visitors to imagine living with various robots in the future and discover new possibilities through interacting with robots and introducing the latest robotics research. "Nanairo Quest" is an exhibition where visitors explore the displays space using a dedicated tablet to solve problems that occur in "Nanairo City," a futuristic displays where people and robots live together, and learn about various ways of interacting with robots and gain new insights through conversations with residents and information about robots active in the town. We were in charge of schematic design, working drawings, and construction. We were also in charge of the design and construction of "Nobel Q," which was renovated in September 2023.

This project involved the concept design, interiors renovation, and environmental features of the "Children's Corner" at Nakano City Central Library, located a 10-minute walk from Nakano Station. Our goal was to create a space where parents and children can feel comfortable and where the joy of books can flourish. In the raised area, we created and installed benches, a bookshelf for picture-story shows, and wooden motifs, as well as rotating blocks and a mechanism for measuring height. We also designed and produced a bulletin board with a mailbox, a hemispherical chair, and a movable bookshelf, and used "Tama wood," a local wood source in Tokyo, to create the wooden furniture, in line with the concept of wood education. We also produced 11 types of book stands, including original characters from the Central Library, to create a space that is both "playful" and "warm."
