Thirteen years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake. Reconstruction has finally begun in some areas. What kind of reconstruction will they aim for in these disaster-stricken areas, which are still uninhabitable? The challenge continues to be to build new community spaces where people of all ages can gather and connect, while reviving the connections that once existed between people.

We have invited architect Nagayama Yuko, known for her architectural concept design that include not only the building itself but also the experience of the place, to speak with NOMURA, Ltd.'s Harayama Asako about the new relationship between architecture and interiors, sustainable architecture for the future, and more.
