Hotel Amanek Shinjuku Kabukicho

Hotel Amanek Shinjuku Kabukicho

Hotel Amanek Shinjuku Kabukicho is the ninth building under the Amanek brand, which is based on the concept of "My Hotel Connecting Travel and the City." In addition to the common area of the lobby on the first floor and the restaurant on the basement floor, our company was responsible for everything from proposing and creating the FF&E and concept design for the guest rooms. In proposing concept design for this project, we placed great importance on the following three points. 1. Hotel Concept Based on the hotel's keywords of "a place to belong," "relaxation," and "comfort," in terms of hardware, we have created a "Cozy Comfort Hotel" concept, creating a comfortable atmosphere by realizing a compact yet luxurious bathroom space, while the common areas and zoning, which are conscious of a sense of openness, have created a beautiful space that exudes the urban atmosphere unique to the location of Shinjuku Kabukicho. In terms of concept design, the concept of "Design with Local Essence" has been adopted and numerous elements have been sprinkled in, such as the blessings of nature, streetscapes, familiar scenery, traditional crafts, the atmosphere of local industries, and the lifestyle unique to the Shinjuku area. Through these efforts, we have created a space that gives a sense of relaxation and healing while still retaining the local character of Shinjuku Kabukicho, the heart of the entertainment district. 2. Exterior of the building With windows and ribs in the exterior wall material that are slit high vertically, the exterior design is conscious of the height appropriate for the Shinjuku area lined with high-rise buildings, aiming for a sense of unity between the exterior and interior, and the vertical lines of the exterior of the building express a modern design. 3. Hotels in the Shinjuku area As the area is lined with business hotel chains, there are unique hotels of all sizes, so we will create a relaxing space unique to Amanek while differentiating ourselves from the others. Based on the above three points, we unraveled the history of Shinjuku to explore the charms of this area, and aimed to allow all customers, both domestic and international, whether tourists or business, to enjoy the city of Shinjuku and their travels, and above all, the comfortable space unique to Hotel Amanek. In addition, under the name "Shinjuku Wa Relax," the hotel has created a space that allows you to feel the glittering atmosphere of Shinjuku while also relaxing and soothing the fatigue of your travels. The lobby is a place where you will definitely stop by when you check in and check out, as well as when you go out during your stay or when you return to the hotel, and is a user-friendly space that can be used to suit the purpose of the guest, such as for meeting up with someone or discussing where to go out.

The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park

The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park

In order to provide guests with the hotel's concept of "experiencing Hokkaido," we planned the ultimate locally produced hotel with sustainability in mind while cherishing the culture and ideas that have been cherished in this area. In addition to using wood, stone, and soil from Hokkaido as building materials for the exterior, interiors, and structure, we aimed to use all materials to the fullest, such as making furniture that effectively utilizes building material scraps. In addition, some of the furniture in the hotel lounge is made in Asahikawa, a famous furniture town, using wood from Hokkaido, and the regular market event is held in collaboration with local producers, creating a connection between the hotel and the local area in various ways, both in terms of soft and hard aspects. In addition to using ingredients from Hokkaido (agricultural products, marine products, dairy products, etc.), the restaurant uses ingredients that allow you to see the faces of the producers, and the guest rooms are equipped with wooden speakers and record players associated with the jazz city of Sapporo, and beautiful photos of various parts of Hokkaido by five photographers are displayed as art, weaving in mechanisms that allow guests to deeply experience Hokkaido through their five senses. For those who are visiting Sapporo or those who are starting from there, this hotel offers a one-of-a-kind experience that can only be found in Sapporo, the gateway to Hokkaido.

TheMana Village

TheMana Village

This project is being carried out by ARTH Group Co., Ltd. (Tosashimizu Resort LLC), a company involved in accommodation businesses and regional revitalization nationwide. The project aims to revitalize the entire city of Tosashimizu by revitalizing the long-established inn "Ashizuri Pacific Hotel Hanatsubaki," which has been loved for many years on Cape Ashizuri in Kochi Prefecture, as one of Asia's leading resort facilities for stays, "The Mana Village." The facility is located in the naturally rich area of Ashizuri-Uwakai National Park. Although it has a spectacular view, the hotel's old interiors remains as it was, as if time had stopped since the Showa era. Initially, the plan was to set up a small cafe area, but as the meetings continued, ARTH's vision of wanting to liven up not only the hotel but also the entire city of Kochi and Tosashimizu expanded. The project has been transformed into a complex that includes an Italian restaurant, providing a luxurious space where you can experience the nature of Ashizuri. We have been involved from the concept stage of planning and concept design the facility to improve its appeal, and have been in charge of producing the space for the facade, lobby common areas, guest rooms, and restaurant, which will be the face of the hotel. (design supervision for guest rooms and Italian restaurant) As ARTH's creative partner, we are involved in producing spaces that lead to the creation and revitalization of attractive urban areas, including ``LOQUAT Nishiizu'' (renovating an old Japanese house into an auberge), which we took on in 2021.
