overview

This was a large-scale renovation project to mark the 25th anniversary of the opening of Anniversaire Omotesando. We were in charge of the complete renovation of the chapel, cafe, salon, banquet hall (3 floors), and flower shop.
Based on the concept of "creating a new road in Omotesando," a symbol of the desire to reinvent the building as a lively new "anniversaire hall" rather than merely a wedding hall, we created a space where customers can experience the happy atmosphere unique to Anniversaire on a more everyday basis, along which the bride and groom walk after their wedding ceremony, and where various moments can be created by each customer. In addition, each newly renovated floor has its own unique characteristics, allowing customers to expand their own options and more freely express the joy that comes from them, creating a space that can be used for a variety of occasions, not just as a wedding hall. In addition, concept design of "tying and connecting" is hidden throughout each floor, expressing the spatiality of an "anniversaire hall."

Issues/requests

・With the diversification of wedding formats, we will expand the options for wedding ceremonies and increase the use of MICE, such as corporate parties and event rentals, in addition to monetizing just weddings.
・We aim to create a venue that is open to the city, creating a lively atmosphere, and making it easy to use not only for weddings but also for everyday use.

We have received the above request.

solution

A walkway leads from Omotesando to the chapel, opening the space to the town and creating a lively atmosphere. The banquet hall presents a completely different worldview from previous Anniversaire venues, and is concept design to be suitable for MICE use and to attract new customer segments.
As part of the expression of "tying and connecting," we actively used upcycled materials.
