The all-day dining restaurant "Balcony by 6th," based on the concept of "a balcony in the city," and the bar lounge "The Lovers' Lounge" for "lovers" have opened on the third floor of Azabudai Hills Tower Plaza. The long-loved "6th by Oriental Hotel" in Yurakucho has been reborn as a comfortable dining space that is more accessible to many people, with the theme of inheriting history and harmonizing with the new city. "Balcony by 6th" has an open and comfortable terrace overlooking the Azabudai Hills area, and a botanical atmosphere, offering a unique view of greenery blending into the city. This all-day dining restaurant with about 200 seats can be used for lunch, cafe, dinner, and bar, and serves Italian-based international cuisine created in an open kitchen. The "classical and oriental" taste reminiscent of "6th by Oriental Hotel" has been reinterpreted. A variety of places have been created by incorporating the elements and colors of the surrounding environment, providing a relaxing place where users can enjoy themselves freely according to the situation. The Lovers' Lounge is a bar lounge for lovers. It is adjacent to Balcony by 6th and is a place of relaxation where you can think and talk about the things you like as much as you like. It is a place to meet before a meal or spend some time after a meal, and you can casually enjoy a glass of carefully selected Japanese whiskey from all over the country and a wide variety of signature cocktails. The interior of the store, where you can enjoy carefully selected cocktails and whiskey in a rare, relaxed space within a commercial facility, also has an antique aspect, as some of the interior was used in 6th by Oriental Hotel.

This is the first overseas branch of the Chinese restaurant with the most Michelin stars in China. The interior concept design was handled by a Hong Kong-based concept design company, and our company was in charge of the local design work, which required a highly challenging design by an overseas designer, as well as construction work, which required a high level of perfection.

T-LOGI Fukuoka Island City is located on the only artificial island in Fukuoka City, surrounded by the sea and a container terminal. This facility was jointly developed by Tokyo Tatemono, Tokyu Land Corporation, The Nishinippon Shimbun, and Marubeni, and is the largest logistics warehouse facility in Kyushu, with a total floor area of approximately 131,000 m2. We participated in the project from the planning and basic concept of concept design, and were responsible for the design and construction of the employee lounge and approach, as well as the design of the facility's common areas.

This is a renewal project for the Seibu Railway's Toshimaen Station and Ikebukuro Station in conjunction with the opening of Studio Tour Tokyo (Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter), which was built on the site of the former Toshimaen. ■Toshimaen Station Based on the concept of "a station where imagination blends into everyday life," the station building has a simple concept design that resembles a gate connecting the everyday and extraordinary spaces, with added features that allow you to feel the magical world. The pillars on the platform, station signs, vending machines, etc. have been renovated to a red-based design reminiscent of Hogsmeade Station, which leads to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In addition, the glass surface at the top of the facade is used to display see-through LED images that change depending on the time of day and season, creating a floating, magical atmosphere. In addition, as a legacy of Toshimaen, which closed in August 2020, model trains, telephone booth objects, benches, and objects made from wood grown within Toshimaen have been remade to fit a new concept and are now on displays, making the station a beloved destination among local residents. ■ Ikebukuro Station Based on King's Cross Station in London, England, the walls of platforms 1 and 2, where trains to Toshimaen mainly depart and arrive, have been renovated to a brick style, and the station sign has also been renovated to a navy blue color scheme. Based on the concept of "a road to a fantasy world," a magical worldview has been created by applying illustrations of wizards and owls throughout the station, making it a gateway to the magical world.

Tochigi Health Check Plaza is a medical facility that relocated and opened on January 15, 2024 for health checkups and medical examinations. In today's world, where people are expected to live to 100 years old, health management through regular health checkups and medical examinations is more important than ever. In order to realize the wishes of many patients that their annual medical examination day be a "rich and special day," we have created a space full of hospitality, from architecture to interior and furniture concept design. In order to respond to customer requests and a wide range of concept design areas, we teamed up with NAU (now the Architectural Production Department), which specializes in total concept design on an urban planning and architectural scale, and an interior concept design team that specializes in the hospitality market, such as hotels. By utilizing each other's expertise and concept design everything from the architectural scale to the human scale, we were able to ease the psychological anxiety of patients and create a space where they can spend their time comfortably and comfortably. With a smart appearance symbolizing a cutting-edge medical facility and a space filled with elegant colors, we aimed to create a facility that would take root in the local community and be beloved as a symbol of the town.

This exhibition was made possible by the signing of a comprehensive partnership agreement between Special Olympics Nippon and Chukyo University in May 2022. Located in the space of Chukyo University Sports Museum, which pursues the diverse values of physical culture, this special exhibition allows visitors to experience and learn about the appeal of Special Olympics, including the history and characteristics of Special Olympics activities and domestic initiatives. In addition to sports exclusively for people with intellectual disabilities, Special Olympics also promotes Unified Sports® in line with the global trend of promoting a "co-existence society" and "social inclusion." It is hoped that this exhibition will lead to the "realization of a society in which diverse people can live."

An art monument depicting players was set up in the outdoor plaza of Okinawa Arena, the venue for "B.LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME WEEKEND 2024 IN OKINAWA." By depicting the players with life-size lines, visitors can experience the players' height, speed, jumps and other physical abilities. Expressing the world of B.LEAGUE's purpose, "Hearts Burning," concept design is inspired by communication that connects visitors and multiple venues under the concept of "PARK."

玄海海中展望塔がある波戸岬の周辺海域は、1970年に日本初の海中公園として国定公園「玄海海中公園」（現・玄海海域公園）の一部に指定されています。本施設は、日本海側で唯一の海中展望塔として1974年にオープンしました。波戸岬の陸地から長さ86メートルの桟橋でつながれ、高さ20メートル直径10メートルの大きさがあり、水深7メートルに位置する展望室では、24個の海中窓越しに多種の魚が遊泳する様子や海草・貝類を自然の姿のまま見ることができます。また、海上デッキからは三方に玄界灘の島々を見渡せます。今回、開館50周年を迎えるに当たり、2024年4月1日に初のリニューアルオープンを行い、全国に7カ所ある海中展望塔としては初めてプロジェクションマッピングを導入することで、実際の魚を見ながら、まるで海の中にいるようなイマーシブ（没入感）な体験を楽しめる施設となりました。当社は、基本構想段階から参画し、デザイン、コンテンツ設計・制作から開業時のPR業務まで担当しました。

「Marunouchi Street Park」は「道路空間」を快適な「都市公園空間」へと変える、未来のエリアマネジメントの実証実験として、2019年から東京・丸の内仲通りで実施されています。「Popping Summer Street -訪れる人が夏らしさを感じ、心躍るような丸の内仲通り-」をコンセプトとし、ラグビー／SDGsなど時代やトレンドにあった取り組みとのコラボレーションや、風力発電や太陽光発電の機能を備えたテーブルの設置、地域で働く方や来街者を巻き込んだ音楽演奏の場づくりなどを検証事項として実施しました。

ショッピングセンター関係者が一同に集まる業界最大のイベント「SCビジネスフェア2024」に乃村工藝社ブースを出展しました。2024年1月24日～26日の3日間、パシフィコ横浜 展示ホールで開催され、当社はブース出展のほか、イベント初日に無料セミナーを開催しました。今回のブーステーマは「乃村工藝社が考えるサステナブルデザイン」です。当社ではソーシャルグッドR&D活動の一環で、意匠性・機能性・環境性を実現する『サステナブルデザイン・マナーブック』の作成を進めており、ブースはマナーブックの基本方針に沿って構成しました。サステナビリティへの取り組みが多様化するなか、当社もアップサイクル素材の開発など、さまざまなチャレンジを続けています。しかし今回は空間を構成する上で欠かすことのできない素材、今後も深く関わり続けていくであろう素材であるベーシックマテリアルに立ち返り、それぞれの特性を理解することにフォーカスした構成としています。ベーシックマテリアルとしては木、セメント、アクリル、銅、鉄を採用し、それぞれの角材を配列して格子上に組みながらも空間にアンジュレーション（起伏）を持たせることで、ブース内を回遊していただきながら会話を楽しんでいただける構成としました。各マテリアルの使用本数の割合は、建物のライフサイクルにおけるエンボディドカーボン排出量から算出し、視覚的にもマテリアルの特性を感じ取ることができるように工夫しました。また、繋ぎにはビスや接着剤を使わず、クランプ（※）を利用することで素材の二次利用が可能となり、解体時の廃棄物が圧倒的に少なくなるという、本質的な環境貢献の考え方を象徴的にデザインしました。 これからのサステナブルデザインのアプローチを来場者の皆さまと共に考えていくため、そしてマテリアルに対する責任や感謝を示しながらも新たな気づきや発見が得られるようなブースを目指しました。 ※日建設計様が企画・プロデュースされている「つな木」プロジェクトの専用クランプを使用させていただいております。

本館は前橋の「危機と民力」をテーマとした歴史エンターテインメント施設です。江戸時代に「関東の華」と称され、城下町として栄えた前橋は、明治時代以降も群馬県の県庁所在地「県都」として発展してきました。一方その間に起こった、利根川の浸食による前橋城の崩落や、明治維新による廃藩置県、主力産業であった製糸業の世界恐慌による操業停止、第2次世界大戦中の空襲によって市街地の8割が焼失するといった「四つの危機」を先人たちは「民力」によって乗り越え、再興を果たしました。本館は「関東の華」「県都」として発展した前橋を「華都」と呼び、市民が郷土の歴史をたどり、前橋の未来について考えるきっかけとなることを願い開設されました。

京都発のコーヒーショップブランドで世界各国にカフェを展開する“％ARABICA”のフィリピン1号店（マニラ）のデザイン・設計業務です。世界各国にカフェを展開していることから、その土地の要素や文化を空間に取り入れて独自の店舗を構成することが求められます。本店舗は、経済成長が進むアジア諸国で発展を続けるマニラの未来を示すような近未来的な空間を構成しました。緩やかに曲がる細長い敷地の形状に合わせて、来店者を店舗の奥まで導くために3次曲面形状の鏡面カウンターを配置。床と壁にも同素材を用いて空間全体を反射させることでカウンターの形状と呼応して、マニラの近い将来を示唆する宇宙船のような近未来的な構成としました。

京都発のコーヒーショップブランド“％ARABICA”のクウェート店のデザイン設計業務です。本店舗の立地は、6万人収容可能で、国際大会にも使用されるクウェート最大の競技場ジャービル・アル＝アフマド国際スタジアムを望む場所にあります。そのため、周辺エリアを特徴づけるランドマークとしての競技場を店内から直接ダイナミックに見渡すことができるという稀有な立地性に着目し、空間デザインに反映しました。スタジアムの特徴である外形の「オーバル形状」、雨風をしのぎながらも適度に自然光を取り入れる「膜屋根」、軽量かつ構造としての役割も持つ「フレームワーク」、これら3つの要素を抽出し、空間に落とし込むことで、親和性を生み出しています。

明治安田生命保険相互会社様が、社外との連携・協業を通じた新たな価値創造に向けて2022年9月に東京・丸の内に新設した、オープンイノベーション拠点です。スタートアップ企業や大企業などの民間企業に加え、自治体、行政、大学、研究機関などの皆さまとの連携・協働の場として活用されています。空間としては、拠点のキーワードとなる「連携・協働」を常に感じられるよう、内装デザインとして「交わり・広がり」を随所に表現いたしました。また、アジャイル開発などを筆頭に、スピード感のある多様な働き方に柔軟に対応できるよう、家具什器は可動式としながらも、ゆったりと寛げるソファなどを同空間に配することで、オン・オフの境界線をあえて曖昧にし、さまざまな場面でコミュニケーションを生み、アイデア創出の一助となれるように全体をコーディネートしました。

東急不動産様のLOGI'Q（ロジック）ブランドの旗艦施設である「LOGI'Q南茨木」は、関西地区最大級の物流施設として2024年1月に竣工し、当社はデザイン・設計、制作施工、サインデザインなどを担当しました。1階と4階では本施設を特徴づけるような、それぞれデザインテーマが異なるカフェテリアを設計しています。1階エリアは山間部に面していることを踏まえ、木材をふんだんに使用し、高い天井を生かした広々とした空間を実現し、一方、4階エリアでは市街地・工業地域側に位置しているため、金属や石材を使用したシャープでモダンな構成に仕上げています。さらに、屋外には目を引く大型ロゴや、メインエントランスに位置するラウンジもデザインしながら、本施設を訪れるお客さまに心地よい体験を提供するとともに、アートやディスプレイを通じてコミュニケーションを促進するきっかけとなる空間づくりを行いました。
