[Project Description] We converted a samurai residence over 140 years old, located within the Obi Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District, a castle town with a long history in Kyushu, into an office where you can experience the local culture. The overall concept is "Post-Heritage: Transformation for Inheritance and Passing on to the Next Generation," and by clarifying the points to be passed on and the points to be renewed, we are trying a new way of connecting culture. We aimed to create a space that connects with the community by reinterpreting the lifestyle of former private homes in a modern way. The concept design consists of two different spaces: a communication space with a large table made from the floorboards used in the original private home, and an open workspace with a counter facing the greenery through the opening. The gravel-covered earthen floor inserted between them serves as an intermediate area that connects the two spaces and the outside and inside. The newly constructed "tiered deck" in the garden gently connects the inside and outside, and is used as a space that connects people, things, and events, such as events where local people gather and promotional spaces for local products. [Customer Feedback] The unique and attractive office space, which allows us to experience the local culture, has been well-received not only by local residents but also by many municipalities and companies involved in vacant property management. [Project Overview] A plan was made to construct a new business support lounge within the Otemachi Park Building, which houses serviced apartments, with the aim of improving the functionality of Marunouchi, an international business center, by developing business support facilities. [Client's Challenges] As it was a business support lounge, the challenge was to consider what functions should be provided to allow office workers to lead a richer work-life balance. In terms of concept design, the challenge was how to create a high-quality concept design in relation to the historical landscape, mainly the Imperial Palace, and in the sophisticated location of Marunouchi. [Solution] As ancillary functions of the lounge, work booths, telephone booths, separate men's and women's nap rooms, a fitness center, separate men's and women's shower rooms, and a childcare facility were installed to support various working styles of office workers. UNIQLO CITY TOKYO proposes a way of working inspired by the power of global cities and the connections among people. It is designed to provide opportunities for dialogue through spatial tools that fuse digital and analog elements in the best possible way, allowing all employees working here to become drivers of change. The design concept design and schematic design are done by the international design firm AWA. We assisted working drawings (1 part schematic design), interiors, electrical and HVAC construction, signage work, custom-made FFE work, and CM work. UNIQLO CITY TOKYO brings together all creative functions, including product concept, R&D, concept design and marketing, on the top floor of a distribution warehouse, where approximately 1,000 employees work. AWA, an international design firm, says, "We created a space that encourages exploration, collaboration, and imagination among our employees. The design concept of AWA is to "create a space that encourages exploration, collaboration, and imagination among employees. In this context, we were asked to work closely with AWA to create working drawings and deliver a high-quality office space of 5,000 sq.m. per floor, while coordinating with all related companies and meeting a set delivery schedule.

<Project Overview> This facility was planned and designed as a hub for exchange and activity that transcends industry and business boundaries, operated by an affiliated organization of Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. Aiming to realize a sustainable society for the next generation, and with its three elements of "environment," "economy," and "society" meshing together like gears, this facility, named "3x3LabFuture" from the concept of a "third place" that is neither work nor home, aims to foster the formation of various communities and the emergence of businesses that connect to the future. <Client's Challenges> The client's challenges included creating diverse gathering spaces where visitors from various industries and business types, from individuals to large groups, can interact and engage in activities, and expressing the environmentally advanced nature of the office equipment. <Solutions> We planned and designed spaces such as a "salon" space capable of hosting large seminars, a "communication zone" that can be freely utilized, a "workshop kitchen" and "future cafe" as exchange spaces using cooking as a medium, and a "wonderful corridor" that can accommodate various displays. <Project Overview> Sony Corporation renovated its employee cafeteria from an employee welfare perspective, with the aim of providing an environment where employees can better utilize their abilities. A buffet corner, "Buffet Island," and a "Relaxation Zone" were newly established in the Head Office employee cafeteria as spaces for "eating" and "resting," and our company assisted with the spatial concept design. Sony Corporation, which employs diverse employees and respects individual working styles, has made efforts to provide a wide variety of menu options and enhanced takeout options in "Buffet Island," and as a result of the renovation, the number of daily users has increased by approximately seven times. [Project Overview] Alpen Co., Ltd. is the largest sports retailer in Japan. Its sales are supported by its own brand products. In order to make its private label products even more innovative, the company gathered its own designers on one floor and created a "co-creation floor" with the floor concept of "gathering and creating." This floor is a place where people can gather, talk, inspire each other, empathize with each other, and create new things together. [Customer Feedback] Because it combines concept design and practicality, I feel that it is not only a stylish space but also a floor equipped with facilities and functions suitable for each task. The desks are arranged randomly, so the whole space feels very open. There is a standing meeting space in the center, which is very convenient when working on projects that involve multiple groups, and we use it often. I also feel that the detailed allocation of electrical wiring has an effect on saving energy.

"Kokoniwa" is a communication space located in the lobby of the new Kirin Group Head Office, which brings together the Head Office functions of the Kirin Group, which were previously scattered in various locations. It consists of displays content that allows visitors to experience the past, present, and future of the Kirin Group through seeing, hearing, and touching, as well as a communication space that fosters connections between people inside and outside the company, and generates creativity and synergy. Our company provided comprehensive support, from branding and planning to production, construction, and logo concept design.

We were in charge of the design and production of interiors for Poppins Corporation's Head Office office relocation. The overall color scheme was unified with the corporate colors of pink and white as the main colors. A high quality concept design to welcome customers. By consolidating the office, which used to be divided into four floors, into one floor, we aimed to unify not only the space but also the feelings of the people who work there. In the Pasona Group Headquarters relocation project, we carried out interiors work within the Pasona Group area of the Gofukubashi Building, where our company is relocating. In the building's greening plan, in line with the Pasona Group's "Urban Farm" concept, we were responsible for the construction of planting facilities, including vegetables, on both the exterior walls and interior, contributing to the widespread communication of the Pasona Group's corporate philosophy both inside and out.

Ace Corporation is a company that has introduced many bags to the world, including Ace Gene and Zero Halliburton. In the spring of 2009, with the relocation of Head Office from Asakusa Komagata to Harajuku Jingumae, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was involved in the design of the office space, furniture procurement, showroom design and construction concept design The concept of "ACE as ONE" is "ACE as ONE". The relocation to Harajuku, a cutting-edge fashion area, was an opportunity to "unite ACE employees" and "make ACE bags the best in the world. We created the new office space concept design with the realization of this vision in mind.
