Sony headquarters cafeteria "Buffet Island" and "Relax Zone"

Sony renovated their employee cafeteria from the perspective of employee welfare, with the aim of providing employees with a place where they can better demonstrate their abilities. A buffet corner called "Buffet Island" and a "Relax Zone" were newly installed in the head office employee cafeteria as a space for "eating" and "resting", and we assisted in the spatial concept design. Sony has a diverse workforce and respects individual work styles, so the "Buffet Island" offers a wide variety of menu options and offers a wide range of takeout options, and as a result of the renovation, the number of daily users has increased by about seven times. The "Relax Zone" is a functional space that employees can use freely, and is used not only for meals, but also as a personal workspace, a place for communication between employees, and to refresh.
