Ishikawa Takuboku Memorial Museum, opened in 1970 to honor and preserve materials of Takuboku Ishikawa, one of the most famous poets in modern Japan, will be reopened in 2025 with the addition of Tamayama History and Folklore Museum. During the closure, we planned a temporary observation facility with the theme "Only here and now" that can only be viewed during the renovation work.

This project was undertaken by Takekoma Shrine, one of Japan's three major Inari shrines, to create a vibrant community. Kurukuru is a public mobility service run by local residents that has been operating provisionally as a means of transportation in Nitto-cho and Daishi-cho, Kawachinagano City, where population decline and an aging population are accelerating after 50 years since the development of residential land. In order to operate the transportation service that supports local mobility with the initiative of local residents, we held a participatory art workshop. Together with members of the art club of a local junior high school and local residents, we held a total of 10 art workshops, "See, Learn, Create," with the aim of reaffirming social issues through art, rediscovering the charm of the town, and fostering a sense of participation in town development among local residents through co-creation.

KOCHIKAME Museum" is a sightseeing base facility for the Kameari area in Katsushika City, based on the manga "Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo" (Here I come, Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo). We were in charge of the concept of the facility, displays, content planning and design, and construction. In addition, we planned and designed the circulation measures around Kameari Station, construction and promotional measures for the opening of the facility. The two teams, CIC (Content Integration Center), a team of experts in IP content*, and the public works facility team, which has expertise in local government tourism base facilities and city planning, leveraged each other's strengths. The concept of the project was "The main character builds a facility on his own and then runs away to the town of Kameari! The architecture looks like a stack of comic book panels, with famous scenes popping out of interiors and a space that exudes the worldview of the work concept design, creating a sense of existence for the main characters and creating an immersive spatial experience for visitors. Visitors experience a consistent spatial story from the entrance to the exit, as if they are chasing a hero who has escaped. This also contributes to the promotion of the shopping district and local revitalization of Katsushika Ward and the Kameari area. *This term refers to all content protected by Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). The "SeaZoo" fish displays area at Kinosaki Marine World in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, celebrated its 30th anniversary and reopened on July 25, 2024, after renovations. The concept of the newly completed displays "CUBE" in "SeaZoo" is "Towards a more conversational aquarium." Through conversations with the creatures and zookeepers, 20 cube-shaped tanks, illustrations, and graphic boards, it aims to be a new displays style that encourages learning together, curiosity, new discoveries, and free thinking.

The ED76 electric locomotive, which played an active role in the early days of electrification of the Japanese National Railways in Hokkaido, had to be dismantled for removal and disposal because its parts contained polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), which raised concerns about the environmental impact of the vehicle. As dismantling was planned, the decision was made to preserve the head portion and create an displays facility in order to pass on this valuable cultural heritage to future generations. Similar head displays are made at railway museums throughout Japan, but this facility aims to allow visitors to experience the "strength" of the vehicle that cannot be fully conveyed by the head alone, by recreating the lost body portion in full size using outdoor-grade graphic panels. Through the shape, color, and size of the ED76, the facility conveys to visitors the great achievements and value that the vehicle brought to Hokkaido.

In order to pass on the spirit and culture of the indigenous Ainu people to the next generation, Shiranuka Town is promoting town development based on the idea of "Ior (traditional living space)" and has recently opened the Shiranuka Ainu Museum "Pokor" to introduce the Ainu culture passed down in the town. The name of the facility, "Pokor", reflects the desire of the Ainu people of Shiranuka to "cherish the place where they were born and raised", and this desire is expressed through elaborate dioramas that depict Ainu life, realistic reproductions of every nook and cranny of the cise (Ainu dwelling), traditional crafts and beautiful costumes, and the soundscape of "Ior (traditional living space)" that envelops the entire museum. This facility allows you to experience the rich Ainu life that is vividly depicted with your five senses and deepen your understanding by experiencing the Ainu culture that has lived in the harsh yet majestic nature.

The Aichi Startup Hall was newly established on the second floor of STATION Ai, a startup support hub developed by Aichi Prefecture. Aichi Prefecture has long been home to numerous entrepreneurs who have contributed to the development of its industries. To unravel the stories of their encounters and inspirations, how they overcame adversity, and how they fostered innovation, the hall aims to provide a timeless and inspiring experience for aspiring entrepreneurs and the next generation of children, offering insights into their beliefs, challenging spirit, and visions, stimulating their creativity. The hall is divided into four zones, broadly introducing the roots of Aichi's industries and the challenges faced by many entrepreneurs associated with Aichi. Through displays displays utilizing digital technologies such as video and AI, it offers a sensory and emotionally resonant learning experience for everyone, from children to adults. 京都府立植物園は、1924年に日本初の公立植物園として開園し、2024年1月1日に開園100周年を迎え、開園100周年を機に、園内に新たに、どんぐりの森「Dongreen Lab（どんぐりーんらぼ）」エリアを整備しました。整備場所は、ドングリの実がなるコナラやクヌギなど世界各地から10種類を超えるどんぐりの木を集めた園中央部の面積3千平方メートルの一帯です。子どもたちが実際にどんぐりを手に取り、形や匂いを感じる仕掛けとして、クマをかたどった「どんぐりポスト」や、どんぐりの多様性を感じることができる「見どころキャプション」を設置することで、さまざまな種類のドングリに触れながら生態系を学ぶことができるようにしています。また、集められたどんぐりは園内のワークショップや、京都市動物園のクマへのプレゼントなどで活用される予定となっています。

We aimed to create a facility where visitors can "learn, experience, and enjoy" the diverse evolution of Sapporo's transportation system, from horse-drawn trams and streetcars to buses and subways, in line with societal changes. displays features a ride on the wooden streetcar No. 22, which was active in Sapporo from the Taisho era. Built in 1973, the Okutadami Power Museum is a PR facility for the Okutadami Dam (operated by J-POWER), which originates in Oze. Located on a hill overlooking the dam, it primarily targets tourists visiting Lake Okutadami and Oze, as well as groups of elementary school students. In 2023, to commemorate its 50th anniversary, the museum was renovated and reopened as a power museum utilizing digital technology. The exhibits include sections that teach about the four seasons of Okutadami and the history of the dam and power plant construction, as well as a section where visitors can experience the past and present through digitally remastered footage from the construction period and impressive drone footage on a large screen. displays make it easier to learn about the Okutadami Dam, the mechanism of hydroelectric power generation, and energy. Hiroshima Gate Park is a new public park that will become the face of Hiroshima, redeveloped through a park PFI (Private Finance Initiative) on the former site of the Hiroshima Municipal Baseball Stadium located in the heart of Hiroshima. Eight commercial facilities are scattered around a plaza of approximately 6,500 square meters, capable of hosting large-scale events, encouraging visitors to move around the park and creating a sense of unity among events and shops. In addition, the aim was to create a hub that fosters a new lifestyle of spending time outdoors, where various activities and interactions will be generated, centered around events. Our company participated from the stage of preparing the public tender proposal and was in charge of the overall concept, site use plan, building layout plan, merchandising plan, leasing, interior concept design, signage graphics, tenant design and construction, furniture and fixture manufacturing, branding, naming, logo creation, and communication strategy.

"Sky Patio" is a rooftop garden located on the sixth floor of "Pasela," a commercial facility in Motomachi Credo located in the center of Hiroshima. Since 1994, it has been used as a place of relaxation for citizens, overlooking the city of Hiroshima, centered around Hiroshima Castle. This project is positioned as the first step of the Motomachi Credo revitalization project to renovate the facility configuration of Motomachi Credo, including the site of the new Sogo Hiroshima store, which closed in August 2023, and the current Pasela, and to create a new "Pasela." The new "Sky Patio" aims to create an environment where people can enjoy themselves in a variety of ways, and to foster a sense of anticipation for the new Motomachi Credo, through the provision of an extraordinary experience with a newly installed large-screen monitor and a rooftop bar that takes advantage of the night view, as well as the development of a babbling brook and grassy hill that parents and children can enjoy.

Meiji Park, a Tokyo Metropolitan Park, opened in October 2023 as the first Tokyo Metropolitan Park to utilize the Public-Private Partnership (Park-PFI) system based on the Urban Parks Act. The project site covers approximately 1.6 hectares of the front yard space of the National Stadium, and Tokyo Legacy Parks Co., Ltd., a consortium of six companies with Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. as the representative organization, is responsible for the development, management, and operation of the new park. Our company was consulted by Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. in 2021 and was in charge of overall planning direction and architectural design supervision. We worked closely with the client to create a new park that embodies the concept of "creating a park that will become a legacy of Tokyo, a city that the world can be proud of," and were involved in creating a new park life that meets diverse needs such as well-being and diversity. The park includes three plazas, such as the approximately 1,000 m² lawn area "Hope Plaza" and the "Path Plaza" which incorporates a water feature inspired by the Shibuya River, as well as a wooded area of approximately 7,500 m² called "Pride Forest." Furthermore, we created a lively atmosphere by incorporating publicly solicited park facilities (five retail buildings) to improve convenience for park users. Currently, each building houses a cafe, relaxation facilities, restaurants, and an outdoor activity shop. We also handled the business planning and construction (excluding the sauna area) of the first "TOTOPA" urban spa facility newly developed by Tokyo Tatemono Group*. Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Building A of the retail complex, it features a sauna, a cold plunge pool with a depth of approximately 160cm, a fitness area, and various lounges. *Developer: Tokyo Tatemono, Operator: Tokyo Tatemono Resort
