TheMana Village 4th Period
This is a renovation project for the hotel "The Mana Village" located at the tip of Cape Ashizuri in Kochi Prefecture. The project began in 2020 to transform the former Ashizuri Pacific Hotel into one of Asia's leading resort hotels, "The Mana Village." This project involved adding value to two new types of guest rooms, common areas, and the infinity deck. The new guest rooms consist of seven Japanese-style rooms and a concept room designed by young hotel staff and our own designers, with the aim of providing a "new way to enjoy the ocean like art" while also promoting the charms of Kochi and creating a bond between Kochi and our customers.
This is an ongoing project in which the hotel will be carefully renovated over time, allowing guests to share the hotel's transformation and building up anticipation.
While maintaining the previous goal of "transforming a well-established hotel into one of Asia's leading resort hotels," ARTH Group (Tosashimizu Resort LLC) requested us to create a new concept room that would utilize the flexible imagination of their young employees.
In creating new guest rooms this year, in addition to a large Japanese-style room overlooking the sea that was created by expanding two rooms into one, we also created a concept room that made use of the creativity of ARTH and our young employees, which is the second room after the last one, and we upgraded the existing Japanese-style room to the worldview of The Mana Village with minimal renovation. The concept room concept design by the young employees has windows that frame the scenery like art and walls that convey the charm of Kochi, with the aim of connecting Kochi with our customers.
