[Outline of the project]
Nihonbashi Toyamakan is a comprehensive information receiving and transmitting center that sells products, provides tourist information, and holds exchange events, with a focus on a restaurant where customers can experience the flavors of Toyama. Materials and traditional crafts from Toyama Prefecture are used throughout the space, and the center is not just a place to sell products, but a new center that conveys the beauty of Toyama's nature, diverse culture, and the appeal of its food, making customers want to visit Toyama Prefecture, and conveying the "quality lifestyle of Toyama." We assisted with consulting, design, layout, building execution, event management, and PR support.

The theme was not only to get things, but also to convey things, leading to the revitalization of industries, tourism, etc.
【solution】
We put into practice a proposal to revitalize the facility by introducing a new purpose that will serve as a centripetal force.
Utilizing our CSV solutions "Forester Project" (*1) and "Japan Value Project" (*2) in the creation of public spaces, we are not just a product center, but a variety of things that Toyama Prefecture is aiming for, such as tourism, industry, and immigration. Realizing a plan design that can be used for regional revitalization measures, our designers visited sawmills in Toyama Prefecture to select the wood used for the tables and chairs that are actually used. selected.
"Forester Project" (*1)
This project aims to develop a facility that will create a strong impression of the local brand while supporting forestry by producing interiors, furniture, and fixtures of the facility using domestic materials that are characteristic of the region.
"Japan Value Project" (*2)
An initiative to collaborate with businesses nationwide that deal with traditional techniques and materials, and provide a forum for sharing their knowledge by incorporating the facilities' specifications.
