overview

An experience-based food park for green tea, agriculture, and tourism. It is one of the largest in the prefecture, consisting of a market, restaurants, cafes, a kids' park, and tenant stores. The aim is to increase the income of local farmers and create a place that will become a hub for local tourism, and it was developed as a four-party collaboration project between the Oigawa Agricultural Cooperative, Shimada City, Oigawa Railway, and Central Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.
Our company was involved in everything from the basic and implementation plans to design, layout, construction, and tenant leasing. This project was produced by Tokonatsu Infantry Division, and we established a design JV with our company as the lead company, playing a central role in the project right up to the opening.

This region is one of Japan's leading producers of green tea, and tea farmers have absolute confidence in the quality of their tea. I was. In addition, despite the abundance of tourism resources in the Oigawa Railway SL and the Oigawa River basin, there is also the issue of not being able to attract tourists as much as we would like.
We worked on the challenges of creating a place where local farmers can sell their specialty products in an appealing way and sell them with confidence, and create a place where local people can notice the charm of their local area and be proud of it.

1. To be loved by the local community. 2. To make use of local resources. 3. To communicate in an easy-to-understand manner.
We communicated the idea of how something that is "ordinary" for the local community and farmers can be valuable and attractive to people in other regions. By adding entertainment and concept design to create a one-of-a-kind experience, we added value and created an attractive product and service.
A new Oigawa Railway station has also opened, and as a complex commercial facility unlike anything in the area before, it has attracted much attention and is bustling with customers every day.
