Yaskawa Electric Miraikan

Yaskawa Electric Miraikan

[Project Summary] In 2015, Yaskawa Electric celebrated its 100th anniversary and reorganized its headquarters in Kurosaki, Kitakyushu, to open the "Robot Village," a community open to the local community and society. The "YASKAWA Forest," where visitors can enjoy the nature of the four seasons, was opened to the public, and at its center was the "Yaskawa Electric Miraikan," where customers, schools, research institutes, and local residents can experience Yaskawa Electric's business, the fun, amazingness, and precision of manufacturing, and the latest robot technology. Our company was in charge of creating the space and content for this facility, which would further bring out the appeal of Yaskawa Electric. We designed the facility to integrate all elements that decorate the space, such as mechatronics, video content, and lighting, so that all visitors can experience and feel Yaskawa Electric's business and technology in an easy-to-understand way, as well as experience the world-class "manufacturing" of Japan and the future of Yaskawa Electric, which concept design it, in a space full of surprises and discoveries where cutting-edge technology and emotional sensibility resonate. In particular, the "Robotics Signage" that utilizes the control technology that coordinates with the dynamic movements of Yaskawa Electric's representative industrial robots, and the "Mechatronics Wall" that combines the 3D control of the motor that demonstrates the industry's highest performance with the latest projection mapping video are unique spatial production devices in the world that stimulate all the five senses of the viewer, and we helped to infinitely expand the possibilities and appeal of "manufacturing". In addition, we assisted in the creation of this facility from a total perspective, from the basic concept of creating the space and creating its appeal, to concept design, planning, content planning and production, and construction. <Credits> Overall concept design: Tamura Hiroyu, Ando Yosuke Planning and production: Ogino Kenji, Kajimura Naomi Content direction: Suzuki Kenji, Goto Akinori, Hosoya Hiromasa Product direction: Kusunoki Jiro, Yotsuya Masanori Photography: Nakasa & Partners Kono Masato *At the time of the project

The Tender House

The Tender House

This project was planned in an area lined with restaurants on Shirokane Platinum Street. The intention was to create a building that would evoke memories, with a new yet comfortable appearance and a feeling of having been there for a long time, on a 35m wide site. Our company assisted with schematic design and design supervision of this building, which was aimed to become a landmark of the city as a complex dining facility. Since the building required a sense of openness, we used cement broken stones for openness and shielding, and a texture that looks as if it has been eroded by wind and light. This also contributes to creating the atmosphere of the "dry land of the south," which is concept design keyword for the interior. Based on a consistent concept, we assisted with everything from interiors concept design to the selection of plants and artwork to realize a unified interior that allows you to feel the wind and light flowing in from the outside, as well as greenery and water. When viewed from the outside, interiors concept design that continues to the terrace, combined with the planting plan, becomes one of the elements that decorate the facade, and the architectural facade becomes a borrowed view from the interior space, and the space is created by the interior and exterior complementing each other. The facility includes a dining area, a teppanyaki restaurant, two banquet halls and a chapel, and all kitchens are walk-in or open. The front room of the chapel and the bucket hall are separated by glass, and emphasis is placed on line of sight and spatial continuity within the facility. In addition to being open to the street, the expressions created by the materials, which appear to have aged over time, give off an atmosphere as if it has been there for a long time, making it a distinctive landmark and helping to build an intimate relationship with the town. ◎Our group project members [Sales] Takenaka Hisayasu, Kitai Takuya [Direction] Kosaka Ryu [design, layout] Architecture: Iizumi Hiroyuki Interior: Saito Reiko, Hisakane Masahiro [Production and construction] Idei Keiji

bar/es

bar/es

The red building of Shiseido Parlour, a landmark of Ginza, was built with the concept of a lighthouse that illuminates the streets of Ginza. With the idea of "making a bar that will become a symbol of Ginza" on the top floor of the building, we aimed to create an "adult bar" that many adults who gather in Ginza can enjoy. When you get off the elevator, the reception area is a complete change from the gorgeous lights that decorate the city, and you are greeted by the flickering light of candles. The bar area is a square with a maximum ceiling height of over 8 meters, and in order to concept design the large space more symbolic, a counter is placed in the center, and above is the "light of the lighthouse (Symbol)." Since the building concept is from the ground floor (earth) to the top floor (11th floor) (sky), we placed symbolic artwork that evokes the image of the "Sun (night sun)," "spark of light," (Shine) and "Soul" floating in the "sky." The symbolic red glow is reflected on the metal wall art and antique mirrors, giving it a mature look, while the shadows that extend from the artwork onto the walls give the space an organic feel. In order to make the large space comfortable, the floor is raised and lowered around the counter. The high counter side is a casual area designed for standing. The low counter side has comfortable chairs on a purple carpet, which is the theme color, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed bar. There is also a private seating area behind the bottle shelf, allowing you to enjoy a variety of situations. The lounge area at the back is a cozy space with more unique art and furniture, and the flickering of the flames, and can be used as an adult space where you can feel the ``social'' and ``sexy'' concepts. The ``S'' in ``Bar S'' is an adult space that incorporates the various ``S''s of Ginza.

Cocoon City is a large-scale commercial area with an operating area of approximately 70,000 square meters located in Saitama Shin-Toshin. Cocoon 2, the new core facility consisting of 164 tenants, opened this spring under the concept of "Life Creation" to add color to daily life. In addition to the existing Cocoon 1 facility, the former Ito-Yokado building was newly renovated as Cocoon 3, creating a shopping center with a "surprise every time you visit. As a partner in the Cocoon City project, which Katakura Kogyo developed on its own real estate, we provided comprehensive support for the realization of the project, from the development stage of Cocoon 2 to the planning consultancy and MD planning for commercial planning, environment design, layout, production construction, tenant leasing and furniture and fixture manufacturing operations, ranging from software operations to hardware operations. We provided comprehensive support for the realization of the project. The space is designed to be enjoyable for visitors of all ages, and expresses the liveliness and sparkle of life of visitors in a space incorporating sunlight that symbolizes the enjoyment of a pleasant stroll through the city. displays As the name "cocoon" (cocoon = "cocoon") suggests, this was originally the site of Katakura Omiya Silk Mill, which was the representative of Katakura Industries, Ltd. Graphic design was also applied to create a space where residents of the neighborhood and visitors alike can feel and enjoy the history of the city. Nomura Group companies Nomura Products, Node, and Nomura Duo also participated in the project, demonstrating the "collective strength of the NOMURA Group" in every aspect of the project to meet the diverse needs of the client. In addition to space creation operations, we also responded to operational needs, such as support for opening preparations and tenant follow-up services by leveraging our experience in management and operation, and assisted in the overall SC development.
