Scope of work: planning, design, leasing, construction, logo creation) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Experience the view and height in various ways The new observatory "SKY CIRCUS Sunshine 60 Observation Deck" (SKY CIRCUS Sunshine 60 Observation Deck), where visitors can enjoy and experience views and heights in various ways, fully reopened on April 21, 2016 (Thursday). This facility has evolved from an observatory for "just looking" to an observatory for "experiencing," based on the concept of "SKY CIRCUS," and offers a variety of state-of-the-art technologies, including VR technology and 4D experiences, interactive animation, and CG animation. The new observatory is a one-of-a-kind observatory where visitors can enjoy the "view" and play with "technology" at the same time. We planned and produced this project in collaboration with Dentsu Inc. The "Infinite Scape" is a giant kaleidoscope-like tunnel of light and mirrors that projects images depicting the changing seasons in Japan, and the "SKY Trampoline" is a vertical leaping trampoline that allows visitors to enjoy the experience of flying through the sky to see the natural landmarks of the four seasons, filmed by drones, Visitors can also enjoy inbound content. Visitors can also enjoy "Kaleidoscope 60," which features 60 kaleidoscopes and a sparkling "CUMOS Cube Kaleidoscope," and "Asobrella NEXT," an entertainment experience that offers views, weather, and simulated experiences, among others. Through industry-academia collaboration with Joshibi University of Art and Design, Osaka University, and other educational institutions, the facility is creating new experiences by transforming technology into entertainment. In this facility NOMURA Co.,Ltd. group, Nomura Development Inc. is in charge of the store "SKY CIRCUS SHOP" and cafe "Cafe Quu Quu Quu" operation, management, Nomura Techno Inc. is in charge of the technical system for the production equipment interiors, and Nomura Products Inc. is in charge of the production, and by utilizing our collective strength, we have created an observation deck that is unlike any other in the world. Nomura Development Inc. was in charge of the technical system for the staging equipment, and Nomura Products Co. <Customer Comments> This project was not a typical observatory renewal project to clean up the environment interiors, but a project to create value for a new observatory, and it was a difficult project to create something from nothing. Therefore, as a client, we were looking for new ideas that would entertain, surprise, and delight the guests. We were able to meet these requirements not by simply making one-sided proposals, but by working together enthusiastically to create them through free and vigorous discussion within the project team and, at times, by presenting the client with bitter criticisms. [Project Overview] Tokyo Station, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in December 2014, has continued to develop and engrave its history alongside Tokyo's Marunouchi area, one of Japan's leading business districts. With the development of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Plaza and the redevelopment of the surrounding area progressing, its evolution is moving towards the next 100 years. In 2015, with the wish to illuminate the future brightly from Tokyo's Marunouchi area, the heart of Japan, the "Tokyo Michiterasu 2015" celebration of light was held. Our company assisted with the special illumination of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi building using "traditional Japanese colors" and the illuminated promenade on Gyoko-dori. In the illuminated promenade, visitors were enveloped in light through sculptural illuminations and tree lighting, and the integrated presentation with the station building created a high-quality and dignified space befitting Japan's gateway. In a survey on light-ups/illuminations conducted by the Japan Event Industry Promotion Association on February 10, 2016, the special light-up of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building was selected as the number one light-up/illumination event that people would like to see in the future. [Project Overview] "Attack on Titan," a manga series that has sold over 44 million copies in Japan and is available in more than 10 countries worldwide, is the focus of this exhibition. The unique worldview and skillful storyline, centered on the battle between humanity and the giants that devour them, were presented using a variety of displays methods. In addition to displays of original artwork, there was a large-scale 4D immersive theater, realistic 3D models of giants, and a 360-degree video space using the latest HMD (Head Mount Display) technology. This was an experiential displays event that could be enjoyed by both those familiar with the work and those unfamiliar with it, and it was the most popular in Japan in 2014, generating buzz in the media and through word of mouth. Our company assisted with the planning, design, layout, and construction of the spatial presentation. [Project Overview] This museum was established with the purpose of housing and displaying original drawings by the artist Fujiko F. Fujio. In addition to displays rooms displaying the original drawings, a manga corner where visitors can read the works, a kids' space where children can play, and a video theater showing original works, there are also character monuments in the outdoor area surrounded by greenery. Staff with various skills, including spatial concept design, character design, displays direction, and even newspaper advertisements, brochures, and wrapped buses, collaborated to meet the client's needs.

An illumination decoration project that colors the area around Shinjuku Station during the year-end and New Year holidays, including Southern Terrace, Mylord, Odakyu Department Store, Odakyu Hulk, and Odakyu Ace. This year, due to the power supply shortage caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, we took care to significantly reduce power consumption while creating heartwarming illumination decorations that allow people to feel the bond between people. Under the cold night sky, many couples, families, and friends form long lines at the monument of light set up on the Southern Terrace. I was making my expression shine in the bathing performance.

Takehiko Inoue, the manga artist behind "Vagabond" and "Slam Dunk," takes on the challenge of creating a museum space. The entire exhibition is newly drawn. On the wall of the Nippon Television Head Office building in Shiodome is the "Hayao Miyazaki concept design NTV Clock" (a mechanical clock), created by animation master director Hayao Miyazaki. The entire structure is covered with hand-hammered copper plates, and it measures approximately 12m in height and 18m in width. With 32 interconnected mechanisms scattered throughout, it creates a narrative, making it truly one of the largest mechanical clocks in Japan. Starting from a single sketch, it took approximately four years to complete. Inside this clock reside characters that control "sound" and characters that control "movement," and the entire clock creates a single piece of music. The performance lasts for about 3 minutes, and several times a day, the melody played by this clock resonates throughout Shiodome.
