Metsä Village, which will open as part of Metsä, consists of two areas: Metsä Village (opening November 9, 2018, free admission), where visitors can experience the Nordic lifestyle, and Moominvalley Park (opening March 2019, paid admission), which is themed around the Moomin stories.
Metsä Village will cover approximately 163,000 square meters and will consist of retail facilities, restaurants, workshops, event spaces, and parking facilities. Our company was responsible for the design and supervision of its environmental design (building exterior specifications and concept design, facility signage coordination, environmental benches, photo spots, and trash can concept design).

[Customer's challenges/requests]
We requested concept design that had a Scandinavian feel, matched the world of Metsä, and, since our target audience was adult women, was playful and Instagram-worthy.

[Customer Feedback]
Many of concept design are Instagram-worthy and make customers want to take pictures, and they actively uploaded the photos they took to social media, which had a positive PR effect.
Furthermore, on the benches where you can relax and unwind, you can truly experience Metsä's concept of "Living with empty space."
