Sankyo Manufacturing 70th Anniversary Project Machine Tool displays Space
This project was undertaken based on the machine tools that had been collected and used by Sankyo Manufacturing Co., Ltd., with the goals of cultural preservation and educational use, as well as to leave them as valuable assets for future generations.
It will be Japan's leading displays space for machine tools, bringing together numerous historical machine tools that embody modern industrial history.
Visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the innovations and achievements of machine tools, which are the forerunners of the times and bring about industrial change, by system and era, and can actually touch the machines and mechanisms, leading to new discoveries and learning. In addition, lighting is used to symbolically present the machine tools, which are the core of displays.
Our company was involved from the research stage onwards, and under the supervision of a supervisor, was responsible for the spatial concept design, lighting concept design, graphic concept design and production and construction.
[Customer feedback]
The graphic concept design, color scheme, and especially the lighting were well balanced to create an antique atmosphere.
