This is the "Okomeburan" concept shop run by Shinmei Group, one of Japan's largest and most established rice wholesalers.

Okomeburan is a rice bran specialty store brand with the vision of "organizing your everyday life," and this store aims to be a new type of urban store consisting of three spaces: "FACTORY SHOP," "EAT IN CAFÉ," and "KITCHEN LAB."
Every product from Okomebran is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, from the manufacturing process to the transportation. To best showcase the appeal of these products, we have created the "FACTORY SHOP," which combines traditional retail and cafe functions with an displays space.
The system includes displays clearly explain the manufacturing process, as well as features that allow users to pick up and learn about brown rice, rice hulls, white rice, rice bran, and scenery from the production area for each brand.
In addition, we have incorporated a "KITCHEN LAB" that visualizes the kitchen and office space, where we will hold workshops and concept design a space to showcase the product development process, which is not usually seen by the public.

Our company has been involved since the opening of the first Okomeburan store (LUCUA Osaka) in February 2021. In addition to store design and construction, we have provided comprehensive support, including rebranding to set the brand name and vision, logo and packaging concept design, and supervision of product and cafe menu development.

1) By running a café where people can enjoy food and drinks made from rice bran, and by hosting workshops, we aimed to provide local residents and tourists with a place to relax and learn, and to raise health awareness in the local community.
②Rather than just promoting rice bran as a product, we aimed to increase interest in rice by communicating the social issues facing the rice bran producing areas and regions through workshops and customer service.
