This is the "Okomeburan" concept shop run by Shinmei Group, one of Japan's largest and most established rice wholesalers.

Okome Bran is a rice bran specialty store brand with the vision of "organizing your daily life," and this store aims to be a new urban-style store made up of three spaces: "Factory Shop," "Eat in Cafe," and "Kitchen Lab."
All of Okomeburan's products are made with the utmost care, from the manufacturing process to the shipping process. In order to maximize the appeal of these products, we have devised a "Factory Shop" that adds displays function to the existing sales and cafe functions.
The facility also includes displays function that clearly explains the manufacturing process, and a function that allows visitors to touch and learn about brown rice, rice husks, white rice, rice bran, and landscapes of the rice-producing areas for each brand.
Additionally, we have set up a "KITCHEN LAB" that combines the kitchen and office, where we will hold workshops, and we have concept design a space to showcase the product development process, which is not normally visible.

Our company has been involved in Okome Buran since its first store (Lucua Osaka), which opened in February 2021, and in addition to designing and construction the stores, we have been providing general support, including rebranding to set the brand name and vision, and supervising logo and packaging concept design, as well as product and cafe menu development.

1) By running a café where people can enjoy food and drinks made from rice bran, and by hosting workshops, we aimed to provide local residents and tourists with a place to relax and learn, and to raise health awareness in the local community.
②Rather than just promoting rice bran as a product, we aimed to increase interest in rice by communicating the social issues facing the rice bran producing areas and regions through workshops and customer service.
