2025 World Expo Osaka Healthcare Pavilion Nest for Reborn

Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City are exhibiting at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion Nest for Reborn, a joint effort by industry, academia, government and the private sector, at the Osaka-Kansai Expo site. As the lead company in displays JV, we were responsible for the master plan, schematic design, working drawings and construction. Our basic concept was to "allow people to experience a life where future medical care and healthcare are ubiquitous, and also to create displays that will lead to a legacy as an experiment in future society," and we expressed this concept through the future themes of "healthcare," "city," "food and culture," and "entertainment."

The main program, the "Reborn Experience Route," allows you to meet yourself 25 years in the future by measuring your health data with a "Body Measurement Pod."
You can experience the future of your self 25 years from now by experiencing healthcare and urban life of the future as envisioned by approximately 20 exhibiting companies, mainly from Osaka, and have a rebirth of your future self.
displays is filled with the hope that it will inspire people to be reborn and take a new step towards a "future society where life shines."

We hoped that this could be a catalyst for "Reborn" - "people can be reborn" and "taking a new step" - in a "future society where life shines"...We were able to make this a reality by uniting the aspirations of the general producer, advisors, exhibiting companies, and many other stakeholders.

・To create a pavilion that is worthy of hosting many visitors from around the world.
- Realization of a pavilion where three-generation families, student groups of over several hundred people, and visitors from overseas can enjoy the experience.
・New experiences, new perspectives, and reborn stories for the future

・We participated in UD workshops at the design and construction stages to discuss what displays should look like together with people with disabilities, and listened to their opinions and requests. These were then incorporated into concept design, planning, and construction.
・We researched Osaka technology, Osaka products, and Osaka origins, and approached leading Osaka companies and SUs to enrich the Reborn content.
- Based on research into past expos and visits to Dubai, we designed the flow of visitors and content while imagining what the situation would be like after the opening.
・We organized meetings and work flows for the design and construction of displays for many exhibiting companies, and created various guidelines.
