Exhibiting with Heralbony at the TBS-sponsored, hands-on SDGs event "The Square That Makes the Earth Smile 2024 Autumn"

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. will be exhibiting its Sensory Room, Sensory Bag, and "SCRAPTURE" at "The Plaza to Make the Earth Smile 2024 Autumn," an experiential SDGs event hosted by TBS, which will be displays at Akasaka Sacas Plaza and other locations from November 9th (Sat) to 10th (Sun), 2024. displays will be located within a program implemented by Heralbony, with whom Nomura Co., Ltd. has various collaborations.

This event, themed "Let's find something you can be passionate about," is an SDGs event focused on the well-being of children, aiming to energize both mind and body. Multiple programs will be offered where participants can experience sports and art. Our company is advancing R&D activities toward realizing our sustainability policy of "creating spaces that are easy for everyone to use," and we endorse the purpose of this event, providing concept design and content support for the programs implemented by Heralbony.

Taisuke Kinugasa, an outstanding artist active at Gallery Miracle in Kyoto, will be appearing at the venue (BLITZ Studio) in his studio! On Saturday the 9th, Kinugasa will come by and draw art as he pleases. Enjoy the colorful, exciting and magical artworks and original drawings up close.

Sensory-Friendly Project
For those who have difficulty going out for various reasons, or who have given up on experiences outside their homes, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is working in partnership with researchers, individuals directly affected, and experts to create spaces where everyone can feel safe and comfortable.
Through research, the installation of "sensory rooms" in stadiums, and the development of experiential devices and concept design items, we aim to provide a sense of security when going out to all kinds of places, such as sports and entertainment events, commercial and public facilities, and to deliver inspiring experiences in inclusive spaces.

Sensory-friendly bag
The "Sensory Friendly Bag," an original bag planned and produced by NOMURA Co.,Ltd., contains items that pursue a comfortable feeling so that everyone can spend time safely and happily. The bag concept design and Sensory Friendly logo concept design were handled by NOMURA Co.,Ltd. IVD. The bag's pattern features artwork created by contracted artists of "Heralbony."

SCRAPTURE(SCRAP MATERIAL UPCYCLE PROJECT)
This product is a practical and sustainable message art piece that appeals to emotions and memories by making interiors waste, which is usually hidden from view, feel more familiar. Unlike traditional scrap-and-build message-making, it upcycles the waste into new interiors materials for the next generation, circulating as a medium that expands the circle of co-creation. It will be displays in offices, international conferences, and art events, aiming to provide an opportunity for many people to think about a better future. Winners include the Gold Award at the "Sky Design Awards 2023" (Multimedia & Visual included Exhibition category), the Gold Award and the Yui Tezuka Award at the "57th Japan Sign concept design Awards," and others.
