Ryutaro Matsuura, who leads the spatial concept design team "RENS," works with the concept of "discovering a focal point and creating a space that is open to the future," and proceeds with concept design by instantly switching between macro and micro perspectives, from the concept work that shows the brand's direction to the stitching of furniture that touches the body. The types of businesses he has worked on so far are diverse, including restaurants, boutiques, hotels, commercial facilities, and museums, and in recent years he has expanded his activities overseas. This book introduces these spaces with photographs and drawings, and expresses Matsuura's concept design philosophy of "brightening the future and society through concept design."
