This tourist facility plays a central role in Tono City's urban vitalization business.
It consists of the "Mukashibanashikura" where you can have a variety of experiences themed around folk tales, the "Yanagita Kunio displays Hall" which tells the story of the life and achievements of Yanagita Kunio, the author of "Tono Monogatari," the "Tonoza" where a variety of performances such as folk tales and local performing arts are held, and food and beverage facilities.
The Cultural Environment Research Institute was in charge of planning, design, layout, while the head office was in charge of production and construction.
