Aomori Prefectural Misawa Aviation Science Museum

Aomori Prefecture has a valuable history in the history of aviation in Japan. Aomori Prefecture and Misawa City came together to establish the Aeronautical Science Museum, which opened in 2003.
In 2021, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was in charge of the overall renovation work, including completely revamping displays, installing a new space zone, and introducing new roller zips.
The organization that manages the facility is made up of local companies and NPOs, and NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is the designated manager and is responsible for maintaining displays, operating the information network and video hall, as well as planning special exhibitions and other events.

In addition to the Aviation Zone, displays aircraft related to Aomori Prefecture, the Science Zone, which focuses on a science experiment workshop run by instructors, and the Space Zone, which was newly added in the renovation, the facility also displays the HondaJet Technology Demonstration Aircraft, the only one of its kind in Japan.
