This project involves producing video content and creating and installing displays for the "First Prefectural Office Building" (a restored facility) at the Hyogo Prefectural Hyogotsu Museum, where visitors can experience the historical space from when the prefecture was founded.
The “First Prefectural Government Building” is a facility that reconstructs the building of the former Osaka Town Magistrate’s Office, Hyogo Kinbansho, where the prefectural government was established when Hyogo Prefecture was born on May 23, 1868 (Keio 4). The prefectural government building, including the governor's office at that time, and the old Doshin mansion have been recreated, allowing you to experience the lost historical space of the Bakumatsu and Meiji eras. In order to allow people of all ages to enjoy the historical space more closely, the virtual tour "Virtual Visit!", where visitors can experience wearing time goggles, will experience the drama of the Bakumatsu and Restoration that unfolded at the first prefectural office using the latest MR technology. You can experience it at
・Because the restored facility will be used for filming and other purposes, displays fixtures must be movable, not fixed.
- Because construction work was already underway, there was a limit to the amount of electricity available, making it impossible to install electrical outlets for displays in desired locations.
There were more issues.
While enjoying the historical space, a wide range of content was prepared, from digital content such as MR and AR to picture-story shows, triggered by movable lantern signs and graphics, creating displays that allows people of all ages to experience history in a more personal way.
