overview

Aisin AW's history of taking on the challenge of developing Japan's first purely domestic AT and car navigation systems, as well as the passion and technology of our predecessors who climbed to the top of the world, will be handed down to young employees and stakeholders. It is a facility to

In the main space, in order to convey the struggles that the company went through, starting from imitating Europe and America, to establishing its own technology through trial and error, in a way that gives the viewer a sense of coming closer to the employees' point of view, six stories were presented using manga expressions that young people like, plus symbolic scenes. displays encourages empathy in a casual way, just like reading manga, and allows visitors to fully feel the passion of our predecessors. Furthermore, we deliberately made use of the 40-year-old building, which still retains the breath of the employees of that time, and used it while leaving some parts intact as a stage for displays. We also deployed AT pallets and grating materials that are actually used in the factory as fixtures and a stage, creating an opportunity for "dialogue" between employees and customers.
The old conference room area was transformed into a large, long, narrow space by connecting small rooms, and the entire space was treated as a timeline, showcasing the evolution of product technology. The stage was constructed using AT pallets, which AW has used to deliver its products to the world, creating a sense of familiarity and pride for employees. This space is a giant AW timeline that allows you to intuitively feel at a glance the incredible technological capabilities of AW, which continues to create world firsts and world bests.
