NOMURA was in charge of the planning, design, layout, interior execution of the break room at ZOZOBASE Tsukuba 3, ZOZO Co., Ltd.'s newest and largest logistics base, which began full-scale operation on November 1, 2023.

Based on the concept of "making the staff WAKUWAKU", we concept design a break room where you can have fun, heal, and be motivatedHave. By promoting automation by introducing the latest equipment for the first time in Japan, we expected to save about 30% of manpower, and introduced 100% electricity derived from renewable energy, making extensive use of sustainable and unique materials befitting an environmentally friendly facility. In addition, by incorporating art works that are upcycled from ZOZOUSED's discarded products, the "WAKUWAKU" feeling is accelerated.

``I've always been a heavy user of ZOZOTOWN, and by expressing the ``excitement'' from purchasing a product to receiving it in a space, I hope that my employees will also be able to take a break while being excited.'' I started concept design from an idea. Because of the functionality of the logistics base where our employees work, there are many inorganic materials in the area, so in the break room we use organic materials and a lot of craftsmanship so that people can change their mood and feel refreshed as much as possible. ZOZO and all the artists and craftsmen who cooperated with us this time were very warm, and the rest room was created as a result of everyone having fun, so we hope you'll be excited to use it. ”
