overview
This project involved the employee break rooms at "ZOZOBASE Tsukuba 3," the fifth logistics facility for ZOZO Co., Ltd. Our company was responsible for everything from the basic planning to construction of the break rooms on the first and fifth floors. Each floor has a fashion-related concept design concept: denim for the first floor and plaid (checkered pattern) for the fifth floor.
Issues/requests
concept design needed to be functional and make the warehouse environment as comfortable as possible for employees to rest.
solution
With the theme of "a break room that excites employees who are working to deliver excitement," we aimed to create a functional and comfortable break room. To create a comfortable atmosphere, the interior concept design primarily uses organic materials, in contrast to the warehouse. We also deliberately made significant differences in concept design of each floor, and even within a single floor, we gently divided the area into "relaxation" and "communication" areas, allowing employees to freely choose a break space according to their mood and purpose.
