Based on the concept of “discovering a focal point and creating a space open to the future,” Ryutaro Matsuura, who leads the spatial concept design team “RENS,” creates everything from concept work that shows the direction of the brand to the stitching of furniture that touches the body. We proceed with the concept design while instantaneously moving back and forth between micro-perspectives. He has worked on a wide variety of business types, including restaurants, boutiques, hotels, commercial facilities, and museums, and in recent years has expanded his field of activity overseas. In addition to introducing these spaces with photographs and drawings, this book expresses Mr. Matsuura's concept design philosophy of "brightening the future and society through concept design."
