The cultural exchange facility [Whale Town Oshika], which includes the "Oshika Peninsula Visitor Center" whose displays production was handled by NOMURA Co.,Ltd., received the 2021 Good concept design Award.
On Wednesday, October 20th, the winners of the 2021 Good concept design Awards were announced, and "Whale Town Oshika," a cultural exchange facility including the Oshika Peninsula Visitor Center, for which NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was involved in displays production, received an award (design administration & displays design = Sato General Planning, displays construction = NOMURA Co.,Ltd.).
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all of our clients and everyone who cooperated with us.
In addition, the following projects, in which AND Ryu Kosaka participated as a designer, were also awarded: NTT Urban Development Corporation, Obayashi Corporation's hotel [The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Shimizu], and Tokyo Station Development Co., Ltd.'s "Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit Concourse and Specialty Shop Area [Tokyo Gift Palette]", in which he was involved from the development stage of upcycling the aluminum body of the Tokaido Shinkansen 700 series train into interiors materials, and was in charge of production, construction production, and project management for the interior work in the environmental area.
Moving forward, we will continue to address our customers' challenges and requests, keeping in mind social responsibility, new technologies, topicality, economic impact, landscape, and regional revitalization, and strive to create optimal spaces and provide "Delight and Passion."
