overview

This is a renewal project of the Ministry of the Environment's Ise-Shima National Park Yokoyama Visitor Center.
As a place to communicate the ``connection between people and nature'' that is the most attractive feature of Ise-Shima National Park, we have chosen three themes (ama culture, pearl farming, and Jingu Forest) that symbolize the activities of people who coexist with nature in Ise-Shima. displays is organized around the center. An immersive theater will be installed as the core of the renovation, and immersive high-definition images will be displayed on four screens (three walls and the floor) depicting Ise-Shima's distinctive landscape, rich nature, and human activities. Did. We have introduced interactive methods to help children learn while having fun, such as by touching the icons displayed on the screen to see visuals and explanations of living things.

Issues/requests

As part of the "National Park Enjoyment Project," Ise-Shima National Park aims to become a world-class national park by increasing the number of foreign visitors to Japan. We received feedback that maintenance has not been done, and we have reflected this in the renovation plan.

solution

Videos and graphic explanations are multilingual in English, Chinese (traditional and simplified), and Korean, strengthening inbound support. Additionally, the theater, which originally had one side, has been renovated into an immersive theater space by increasing the number of walls to three walls (front, left and right) and the entire floor, proposing a way to provide information that does not rely on words. Did. In terms of video development, we will widely introduce the unique charm of Ise-Shima National Park by depicting the beautiful landscapes, creatures, and human activities that can only be seen in Ise-Shima with a rich sense of reality using 360° cameras and drone photography. , we focused on stimulating the desire for on-site experience.
We have also updated the themes and topics of the explanatory information so that everyone, including foreign visitors to Japan and general tourists, can experience the charm of Ise-Shima National Park and visit the actual field. .
