This was interiors concept design and FF&E design and construction work for the global real estate company Hines' first logistics facility investment project in Japan.
We selected the basic concept design for interiors and landscape for the tenant shared areas, as well as FF&E such as furniture, decorative lighting, and plantings.
With the number of logistics facilities increasing in recent years, we were asked to propose a highly sensitive concept design with a clear concept for the common areas and easy-to-use furniture that would give a sense of comprehensive employee benefits in order to differentiate the facility and attract tenants.
Taking advantage of the vast site and the concept of incorporating the natural environment inside, we proposed a dynamic, well-balanced and comfortable space.
FF&E's proposal was to tour the showroom with the customer, select furniture that was comfortable and safe, and coordinate the space to create a comfortable atmosphere with plenty of plants scattered throughout.
Through repeated dialogue, they came to understand our concept design concepts and hopes deeply and were able to realize them in the most wonderful way possible. Thanks to them, we were able to create a very comfortable space for the facility users, and we at Hines are very pleased to have been able to propose a new concept design and functionality to the amenity space of the logistics facility. We would like to thank everyone at NOMURA for their support in this project.
