Yamanashi Prefectural Mount Fuji World Heritage Center
overview
<Project Description>
Mount Fuji, a World Cultural Heritage site that Japan is proud of.
The Mount Fuji World Heritage Center is a facility that aims to raise awareness about preserving Mount Fuji for the future, by learning about and enjoying its value from both a "natural" and "cultural" perspective, as it is registered as a World Heritage site as "an object of worship and a source of artistic inspiration."
Our company addressed the challenge of effectively conveying the "fascination of learning about Mount Fuji" to visitors, including many foreigners, by creating a spatial experience featuring nonverbal content (non-verbal displays) with sound, video, and lighting effects, and by providing displays guidance through the "Fujimeguri" app, which includes multilingual (7 languages) explanations and audio commentary narrated by Shuzo Matsuoka.
By combining "giant sculptures," "ICT content," and "lighting, sound, and video," we create a unique experience that can only be found here.
What is the original app "Fujimeguri"?
This AR content is linked to approximately 30 displays items. You can enjoy AR where figurines of people associated with Mount Fuji speak, and AR where ancient pilgrimage routes appear on a floor map with a diameter of 18m. In addition, if you take it outdoors, it can be used as a tool to explain famous places such as temples and shrines, lakes and marshes, and hiking trails.
